A very well crafted book
The book was delivered through India post in a perfect condition. A map of the Indian offensive in the eastern sector is a surprising addition to this package. The font and images are clearly legible. The book is a worth buy I must say. Also full marks to the seller and India post for getting it delivered in a perfect condition.

Good book from military perspective
First of all, salute to Lt. General to lead/be a part of the most successful battles independent India ever fought. Now, this is a book written from a military perspective, as is expected from a decorated military officer. It is a good book if you understand war machinery. Focus of the book is on troop movement and military tactics. At times, while reading the book, it appears as if you are in a briefing room and being instructed by your commander. Overall a good book, could have been better if it were written along with a professional writer (with all due respects to the decorated writer)

The brilliant campaign by the Freedom Fighters and Indian Army to liberate Bangladesh.
This book traces the Bangladesh war from the beginning, the camps, the strategy, training the Mukti Bahini (Freedom Fighters), their campaign. And the role JFR Jacob played in developing the winning strategy and applying it after the War started. The author is very laudatory of the fighting by Mukti Bahini in demoralizing the Pakistani forces where they lost their will to fight. Bangladesh is forever grateful to all those who laid down their lives to create a home for Bangalis. Bangladesh is a country where people of all religions prosper in peace.
