This is a very large, soft scarf, but it smelled overwhelmingly like chemicals, so I had to hand-wash it. I'm still not sure that this is 100% real cashmere, since the label that says "Cashmere" (no percentage, just the word "Cashmere") was glued on and came off easily, and even after washing the chemical smell off, the scarf doesn't smell like animal hair -- if you've had other woolen or cashmere items, you'll know what I mean; there's that "fuzzy" smell that natural animal fibers have, and this scarf doesn't have it. For the price, though, it's a pretty good deal even if it isn't 100% real cashmere.FULL DISCLOSURE UPDATE: The seller contacted me to offer me a full refund if I remove my review. The lack of ethics of this request is mind-blowing. They may guarantee satisfaction, but they have no right to demand that their customers remove their reviews even if they are dissatisfied and request a refund (which I didn't; they reached out to me).

My surprise when it arrived and how long it is. It would be great for a tall woman as well. I love it and it is very expensive looking. I am not sure why the other people complained. It did not smell and it did look like cashmere. It feels like cashmere only a higher quality that most cashmere items you buy. It doesn't shed nor is it nappy. I love it and it is extremely warm for winters. I recommend this as hopefully all colors like the navy are exactly the same. I bought the navy blue. It is rich looking and suitable for a man as well.

This is not cashmere and to be clear I didn't expect it to be cashmere for the price. It is a rayon blend which makes it soft and I really love the shade of red it is, most importantly the red is color safe when wearing it and doesn't bleed onto whatever else you are wearing. I do wish the label was stitched on not glued on but that is easily solved with a quick sew. I also would not call this a Pashmina - it is not wide enough for that but again - I wasn't expecting that given the measurements. Quick and short of it is I wanted a really good color red scarf and I am fond of rayon because it is soft so this worked perfectly for me.

It really is nice quality. I did a burn test on a tiny shred and it is not synthetic. Huge, soft, lovely color. Also, it comes packaged in a beautiful gift box. Quite fine, will fit, rolled up, in a large ish purse. I plan on this being my new travel companion! I also plan on buying more to have on hand as gifts.

Really love the material- as others have said it is so soft! And the color is perfect.My two disappointments were 1. Getting it with a black stain already on it and 2. The giant “CASHMERE” tag. Looked very tacky so I removed it and the glue from the sticker pulled and left the residue. See photosUPDATE: started to pull pretty badly after three days of minimal wear. Substantial, not too thin, and very soft. I was skeptical because they’re calling it a cashmere pashmina, if it were really those things it would be about $200. But I am very satisfied, it’s a great deal for the price

I honestly didn’t expect the scarf to be of this good quality. It is a good weight and size. And the feel is smooth on the skin. I bought the grey which is my fave neutral color to use for a colorful dress that I’ll wear to a wedding. I am very happy with my purchase. I plan to buy more scarves in other colors.

Waste of money. And beware: most of the scarves listed on Amazon are also synthetic and misrepresented as Pashmina-cashmere, sometimes listing silk, as well.

I bought this as a gift and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of this scarf. Big enough to wear over shoulders if necessary but not so big as to be cumbersome. Very soft and warm. Quite luxurious. I would absolutely recommend this item.Edit: I have since bought three of these scarves as gifts in different colours as the original recipient was so pleased with it and keeps requesting more! I will add that, although it is great that it comes with a gift box, the box is often damaged slightly or scratched so may not be able to be used for gifting.

I bought this for a present for my aunt and I'm sure she'll love it but I needed to mend the box, which was torn on the corner. I don't think this was an 'in transit' issue because of where the damage was but it's not a big issue at all. The scarf itself is what matters and it's very snuggly!

This scarfe was the Dark Purple but it’s more like a deep plum, very pretty and very soft. It’s good quality at a reasonable price. It comes in its own beautiful box and box which is also wrapped in thin cellophane. This was bought as a present for some-one so I am quite sure they will like it. It’s so good my wife will be buying a few more as presents.

I do love the colour and the wool which is lovely soft. Not very thick but surprisingly warm. Can be used as scarf or shawl around shoulders over dress. Nicely presented in a box. Would make a great gift. Will buy a second one in a different colour. Very pleased and would recommend.
