I picked these up as a just in case and $$ well spent. I did practice putting them on and they fit the needs on my Lapland trip

Hunted in Colorado mountains mid November for a week with no issues or concerns for the gaiters. Performed as expected and would buy again. Only downside is they are a little narrow if you are layered up or have bigger boots on. Fit comfortably but had to pull tight to ensure Velcro lined up so they’d stay closed. Otherwise they served their purpose.

I tested these out hiking a woodland trail which had about a foot of fresh snow. Once I finally figured out how to put them on they worked well, and the only wet spot on my legs was from when I stepped into a drift that went over the top of these gaiters.My hints for putting them on. Hold the top open with the strap on the bottom facing the front and the side with the metal lace clip to the outside of your foot. Then step into them so that the gaiter is behind your leg, and your heel is onto the strap with the gaiter tight against your heel. Then bring the side with the lace clip around to the front and clip it onto your laces. If you have extra material on your jeans, fold them back to the outside and under the gaiter. Then bring the other side of the gaiter to the front, and working from top to bottom, attach the velcro binding. Then tighten the drawstring at the top and tuck the excess string inside..I originally ordered the large size, based on the calf measurement. But I wear size 13 EW boots, so I needed the extra large to be able to fasten it over the top of the boot.

Bought these for hiking to keep the nasty weeds away from my legs but also because they will be doing double duty this winter when I wear them with my snowshoes.

I'm a lady's 10 petite and these (size M) just barely fasten up for me. They are tight! Just be aware they seem to run small. I will reorder a size bigger because THEY ARE REALLY GREAT. Very durable, they even add warmth. Perfect, just small.

Pros: economic option, durable textile fabric, sturdy Velcro, riveted lace hook, adjustable stirrup strapCons: not breathable, elastic drawstring may snap (mine did), no stretch or flex to the fabric or closure.Consider your activity. These likely work well for yard work but these are not ideal for hiking.

I bought these as a disposable item to keep my socks and pants free from stickers and insects during a yearly lot cleanup. They did the job and held up much better than I would have expected. I have hope that they would be serviceable for the next few times I have to use them.Good product.

I wear these while mowing and weed eating the yard so I can wear shorts instead of pants. They keep grass, dirt, grit, etc out of my shoes while weed eating and mowing. It has saved my legs from chips and scrapes. If it's hot outside, your legs will sweat and be sweaty, but it's easy enough to use a towel afterwards without trying to get all the dirt and grass off.

The product is quite good but haven't tried it yet. Will use it next month for trekking. Hopefully it meets expectations.
