Very good mix. Better than store brands, comparable to Wildtribe Moka.
I am pretty impressed with this stuff. I have tried most mocha mixes in the stores and they are mediocre at best. I eventually settled on Wild Tribe Moka from MOCAFE which is quite good. Although expensive, I don't use it all that often.I decided to give this a try and was quite pleased. It is a bit creamier than the Moka, and tastes quite good with a nice chocolate flavor and some complexity to it. No bad aftertaste. I would call it comparable. I tasted both together at the same time with water inbetween to get a decent comparison.Note that I blend at work with WATER only... clearly it will be better with milk, etc. You can also use some of that typically yucky work coffee to strengthen the coffee flavor and cut the sweetness some. Or get some instant coffee and blend with it.I used the 3 lb tin with Moka to refill and I still had 1/4th or more of the bag leftover, so this stuff is a bit bulkier than Moka. Not that it really means anything of significance, but just pointing out that you potentially get more for your money volume wise. The main benefit was that this is about 25% cheaper per pound (even more per volume) than the Moka and is not tied to Subscribe&Save, which may or may not be an advantage for you. This will always be cheaper though regardless.

Been drinking this mix since 2006...still my FAVORITE!
I came across this drink mix in 2006 in a local café. When I moved away from home several years later, I started buying it and making it at my apartment. It has been a staple in my routine for years now and my love for this product has hardly diminished! Hard to believe it's been nearly 14 years, but I've enjoyed this drink all the way from studying in college to present day, when I sit down to savor it while my toddler is napping. I cannot recommend it enough! The flavor is robust and delicious, it's easy to make, and wow, you cannot beat the price when you buy it in bulk!

Delicious
We saw our favorite coffee shop using this so we ordered it instead of paying $5 a coffee we can make it at home. (We still buy their regular coffee, lol). We found the best recipe is 5 oz of brewed leftover coffee, 2.5 scoops of this powder, a couple small handfuls of ice, a tiny splash of milk, blend. Or sub milk for coffee for second best recipe. The "scoop" we used is the scoop from a Trader Joes protein powder can so I would guess that is a generic scoop size; probably larger than a tbsp; maybe about a heaping tbsp. That's the best I can do for now. :)

Tasty, mocha-y, nice frappe mix
I bought this & MOCAFE Frappe Wild Tribe Moka, Ice Blended Coffee, 3-Pound Tin at the same time & did a head-to-head comparison of the two. They are very comparable. I used the same amount of ice, milk & powder in each test. On a side note, if you're looking for something that tastes just like the McD's mocha frappe, neither of these are it, but they're both excellent. The texture was similar, perhaps a bit smoother but thicker with the Big Train. The chocolate flavors were slightly different (Big Train slightly more bitter like a Ghiradelli & Mocafe smoother like a Symphony bar), but both were equally chocolatey. You can add more chocolate to it with a chocolate syrup, if you want it super chocolatey. The result: this & Mocafe Wild Tribe are both really good mocha frappes. They both have a very small amount of coffee in them, so you can easily use them as a base by adding more coffee or espresso or even other flavors. Whichever one you'd prefer comes down to personal preference and probably whichever you started out drinking, I didn't find that one was considerably better than the other. Whichever one you go with, you won't be disappointed.Since I was a barista, I thought I'd include tips how to prepare this:Hot: Mix with hot (hotter the better) milk or coffee (some people use water). You can mix in blender or, if you have a pro-type steamer, you can use that (but make sure to mix powder with the liquid a bit first -- the powder will fly everywhere if you don't, trust me).Cold: In your glass, fill with ice cubes. Add any liquid to the glass until it's about 3/4 full (you can add cold milk, cold coffee, extra flavours, or a mix). Add the powder to the blender -- about 1 scoop for a smaller sized drink, two for a large. Add your liquid & ice mix from your cup. Blend on low speed for about 20 seconds, then high until you get the consistency you want. For a less thick drink, use less ice cubes.

Makes a delicious drink!
I have been on a major mocha frappe kick lately and was looking for a low fat and lower calorie alternative. I used this mix with ice and a few tablespoons of skim milk and put it in a blender and voila got a great drink! I omitted the coffee as directed as I felt it really didn't need it. Unfortunately I can't afford to drink it all the time as it has caffeine in it that doesn't seem to agree with me too well. Wish I got the decaf one. I will buy the decaf one next time around for sure. You won't be disappointed with this mix!

Okay
I’ve been trying to find a good mocha frappe mix so I figured I’d try this one based off the reviews... the taste is good. I’ll say that. But the reason I didn’t give it five stars because I felt like it seems watered down and I had to add more of the power than other mixes to get the taste I desired. That reason alone made me not want to buy it again.
