MoenChateau Chrome Single Handle Posi-Temp Shower Faucet, Valve Included, L2352

I bought this shower head, because I liked the style of it, and the fact that it came with the rough in valve. That was pretty important for our budget. It was pretty easy to install.The rough in valve needed to be soldered to the pipes-there were no spot to do a compression valve. We took all the plastic parts out of the valve before we soldered, so they wouldn't melt. We had no problems getting it installed.The water pressure is moderate-not hard or light. I would like a bit more water pressure from the head, but it is doing the job we need it to do.

I'm very satisfied with this faucet and have always respected Moen faucets.Only complaint is that instructions did not show what to do if your hot and cold lines are reversed. After two calls to my plumber( who roughed it in) I found out that you simply remove a metal clip, pull the cartridge out (partially), rotate it 180 deg, push it back in, and reinstall the clip- so simple.

Our old shower valve no longer gave us hot showers without multiple cleanings a year by removing and soaking in CLR. I installed this valve and it has been great. Showers are hot and we don't have to bump the temp up every minute to keep it hot. Installation went smooth enough, no surprises. I spent more time cleaning the tile dust up in the bathroom and linen closet because of having to open the hole up to 4-1/2" with and angle grinder and diamond wheel (only tool I have for the job) than I did putting the valve in. So far we are very satisfied.

Includes all you need although this model does not have pex connections on the valve so I had to solder two pex connections to it. after that it was not bad at all hooking up. Pull the rubber stopper out when you solder just to be sure you don't get it too hot inside.

Works just fine and looks nice. I was expecting the cover plate to be metal, but it is plastic. I do not use the shower head that came with this. I did order a 3way valve but received a 4way so another fitting and solder joint.

This is a very nice shower set up for a very good price. I wanted something that looked nice, was simple to use, and included the valve. Unfortunately, this valve required sauldering with copper pipe and we had expected a different kind of connection since we're using Pex. But, we made it work.

The product came without instructions. I had to get on the computer to get instructions which were inclusive. I called moen who sent me an emailwith enough information that I could install the valve. Also the valve you sent was of the sweat joint type and I wanted the screw fitting type.I finally got the valve installed and it is working ok. I am disappointed with the service .

I searched everywhere for a contemporary shower trim set and was happy to find this set on Amazon. Great price and looks very high end. Other sets I looked at had black plastic on the shower head, where the water pours out. This set has a grey/taupe plastic that is much nicer. It has a beautiful organic shape compared to other sets that are too angular. The handle has fallen off a couple of times, but after tightening it, it has remained sturdy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Exactly as shown and sold in stores, good quality, because it is moen!
