Description Enalapril Maleate is an oral medication prescribed to help manage the symptoms of heart failure, whether mild, moderate or severe, high blood pressure and some other heart conditions. It may be prescribed to treat other cardiac diseases such as cardiomyopathy (a heart muscle disease) and the management of kidney (renal) failure. Uses Enalapril is indicated in the management of symptoms associated with hypertension (high blood pressure), heart failure, dilated cardiomyopathy, kidney disease, and other types of heart diseases.
