THIS THING IS SUPER STURDY IN THE GROUND!
We purchased this pole last spring and finally have it installed now that fall is upon us. Hubby was skeptical that it would support the weight of the feeders (4 of them) and not list to one side or the other. We had a bit of trouble getting straight into the ground --not the pole's fault--our ground is super rocky! But we got it in and level--it assembles easily and the feeder supports slide into their rod pockets--so easy to put together. Only one screw to tighten the auger end to the pole. This feeder pole is not going anywhere any time soon. It is heavily built to take the weight of the feeders. Ours is the full extended height so hubby made me a pole from pvc and a coat hanger to be able to lift the feeders off the hooks to fill them since I am all of 5'3" tall. Being a 'short stuff' I couldn't reach the feeders any other way. Works like a charm! If we would need another feeding station, I would certainly come back to this USA company to purchase this pole again. We needed this height in order to see the birds feeding from an elevated position from our dining room. Super pleased with this purchase

Built well and works great.
Looks nice and birds love it. Holds 4 feeders so many different birds come eat on it. We added a wooden support at the bottom but it would have held without it. We are on a hill so it helped to flatten it out so it was straight. We could easily cover the wooden platform with dirt and grass. We extended the overall height by adding an extra pole. I wish you could buy them but we couldn’t find any so we went to local store for a metal pipe. Very nice product.

Hard to get it perpendicular to the ground, but I still love it!
I can't get it to straighten up. It looks a bit like the Leaning Tower of Pizza, but I really do like it. Nice and tall, the top piece twirls a bit which makes reaching the feeders easier. The attachable hangers could use a bit more of a pronounced hook. I live on a lake and when it gets windy (which it does often), the feeders get blown out of the hook and down the rod to the center - not such a big deal, but just a suggestion. I ordered a raccoon baffle with it and no more squirrels or raccoons. The height makes it perfect for viewing outside of my kitchen window, which is pretty high off of the ground. I ordered 2 at the same time, but have not put up the second one yet. Waiting for my husband to help me so we can install it "straight".

Sturdy and really tall!
We needed a taller pole for the bird feeders due to cats that were able to jump up and grab at birds on the lower hanging feeders. We have gone through several poles over the last few years due to bears that love bird seed way too much, especially during the late winter/early spring when they wake up hungry and also the fall months when they are bulking up for winter. This is by far the sturdiest pole so far and the tallest. We had to cut off about 7 inches of the pole so we could reach the bars and be able to hang the feeders up. Of course we do not expect the pole to stand up to black bears but it would probably stand at least a couple of attempts to take it down by hungry bears. We take the feeders in at night. It is a hassle but the bears are not going to end our bird feeding.

Heavy duty pole
I order this heavy duty four arm bird feeder and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to assemble. The auger on the bottom of the pole really helped to bury it in the ground. Having red clay in our ground meant I had to make a small indentation in the ground first, then start screwing the base piece in the ground.I would suggest that you place the bottom tube partially in the base as you screw it in the ground. That will help you get a straighter pole sticking out of the ground. My first attempt was without that tube and the pole ended up leaning to one side.Great price for a quality purchase.

Excellent -- Sturdy and attractive
As noted by others, this is a sturdy pole. It went into the ground easily, which didn't seem likely when I looked at the insertion end. But there are two holes in that end through which you put one of the arms, then it screws into the ground easily.

Well made
Seems to be really well made and sturdy. The only negative I would say is its very tall so it can be a challenge for short-term people to hang their feeders, etc.

Works well
A good pole is hard to find. I highly recommend this one. I will definitely buy it again, when we add more feeders.Easy to assemble. Not at all wobbly. Study enough to easily hold large heavy feeders.
