ICON Stryker Rig Men's Field Armor Street Motorcycle Body Armor - Black / Medium/Large

The Stryker Rig itself fits my 6'2" frame (I bought the M/L and I wouldn't want it to be any bigger) quite comfortablty, and the armor is well-hinged and allows for excellent mobility- it would have been nice if the chest protector was CE-certified like the back and shoulder/arm protection is, but it still would offer some impact resistance.The mesh that holds it together obviously offers no abrasion resistance, but that's the chance you take if you will wear it on its own rather than under a leather or textile jacket (it would have to be a loose jacket to fit over it)- if you usually ride in hot weather with just a T-shirt, the Stryker Rig flows a ton of air and won't make you over-heated.For the price, something like the Alpinestars Bionic jacket should also be considered (it's very similar in specification)- it does seem a bit expensive for what's offered, but if it encourages you to wear it rather than go riding without any protection at all, I guess it's well worth the price.

Mine just arrived last night and I can already tell that Im going to love it. Bought it because sitting on top of a 210deg engine in traffic in the Georgia summer sucks bad enough but add protective gear to the mix and its down right unbareable. This should do the trick. Plus I can always wear it under another jacket if the ride conditions work.Its a little cumbersome to get on the first time but once you do it and get the parts adjusted its a snap. Lots of mobilty and good impact protection in all the right places plus the waist band seems to give good support and probably some added laceration protection. Hope I never need to test it out for actual impact but Im glad to know I have it on just in case.

Too big. I'm 5'6" and I typically buy a medium shirt. The sleeves are really long and the whole thing is loose on me. I also bought it for layering but it is far too bulky and looks rediculous with anything on top of it. Really quality product that I'll probably never use because it's just too big and too bulky.

Arrived early and fit well. I got the medium/large and was concerned it would be too small, it wasn't. There are numerous adjustments so can be easily adjusted to your bodystyle. I was also concerned about the heat factor, again, not a problem, very well ventilated. All armor pieces fit in the right spots and very easy to put on or take off.As mentioned in other reviews, you will need to wear a jacket over the armor as it is not intended to provide protection against street abrasion. The armor will protect you on impact but would certainly tear up as you slide down the street. Very happy so far.

Low sided into the grass run-off at about 50 mph. Came down on my shoulder, elbow, and hip. My only injury was a broken rib from driving my elbow into my rib cage.The rig worked great. Fits well under my leather jacket. Very adjustable, so it should fit you.

the Icon Rig Men's Field Armor street Motorcycle is effective , light weight yet the shields at your shoulders and elbows are strong ... impressive looking and fits good ....

every thing is good i wish it could be small but i know it only come med/large every thing is perfect i'm very happy.

Best jacket I've ever owned. Mesh keeps you cool when riding. Plenty of protection. I would recommend this to anyone.
