Cooking Light Pick Fresh Cookbook: Creating irresistible dishes from the best seasonal produce

I would not be without this book. I have it both on my ipad as well as the physical book and continue to use these recipes weekly. I particularly enjoy the beginning of each recipe (written in green) for pointers. The pictures are lovely and the recipes very easy to understand and execute. Thank you Ms. Shaddix for your words of wisdom as well as your husband for helping to grow these beautiful vegetables.ps....It woud be nice to have a book like this that would feature fall and winter gardens.

Bought this, Eating Well's and Martha Stewart's veggie cookbooks too. Lost 15 pounds since getting all three. This one includes information about picking foods, looks pretty, and has color pages throughout. A fun read, a healthy way to go. Go for it. Lose the weight or gain it responsibly.

We love this cookbook. The photos are beautiful and we love how the recipes are arranged by food. If you have an abundance of squash in your garden, simply flip to the squash section and there are wonderful new recipes to try. We love the Summer Squash, Bacon and Mozzerella Quiche! Most recipes are light, easy and can be made with what you have around the kitchen. Can't wait for the blackberries to ripen so we can try the Blackberry Margaritas!

I really like the way this book links fresh produce to recipes that are easy to prepare. I'm not a chef, but I enjoy fresh produce. This book is great to inspire me...I typically have trouble coming up with new ideas for recipes. My absolute favorite is the blackberry margarita! I can't wait to try that out this weekend.

Majority of recipes and ideas are common sense and nothing more.This is more of a simple and easy recipe book than anything elseNot helpful recipes, all are common sense and the gardenly ideas are sparse. But a better cookbook and a better gardening book.I would not buy again.

My daughter has a community garden plot so I thought she'd like this particular cookbook, full of wonderfully creative, yet easy recipes that incorporate all of nature's goodness. She loves these recipes and can't wait to start trying them out. Nice layout with great photos as well.

I am not much of a cook, but love this book and how it's organized. It's great to see recipes at an ingredient level and I love the gardening tips. Very well written. Excited to give some of the recipes a try!

This is a valuable addition to anyone cookbook/kitchen shelf. Lots of colorful pictures and helpful advice about cooking light and fresh. I have purchase several for my sisters and friends.
