Joby Quick Relase Plate, QR Plate, Pack 3K Black, Compact (JB01554-0WW)

I find that my gorillapod zoom (older model of the 4 or 5k) gets much more use than my actual tripod these days. As such, having an extra quick release plate for other cameras and lights is EXTREMELY useful. That way, I never have to run around looking for the last device to have a plate on it, because I have plates for all the most often used devices. Its super sturdy and holds very tight. I appreciate the thumb tab for easy tightening, much better than having to use a key or coin (who has couns on hand anymore?!?) to tighten a quick release plate.

This item is designed for the Joby tripod and works as advertised. Delivery was a bit scary as item was said to delivered on day of delivery but USPS did not actually deliver until 1419 hours, so I was concerned it had been delivered to wrong address. But all is well as it was finally delivered.

I lost the top on my 5k i was furious. You cant use it without that plate. I said dont tell me I gotta buy another 5k to use it again. Found this, true life savor. Packed Tight, why best buy doesn’t Carry this? Nah that be too convenient as Im sure many have lost This its easy to do. Just know It is legit and fits the 5k its an exact match. It is not for the regular 3k make sure you read so you don’t waste time.

Lost the original quick release plate for my 3k Joby camera stand and needed a replacement to use with my old Canon 60D DSLR. While I didn't need the other two mounts that came with the pack, the red mount with the bubble level functions exactly like the original in my experience (although note I haven't had the product for long). I would argue that, even despite not using the other mount in the package, the $15 cost is well justified. It's a solid product, and the additional trinkets should make equally good back-ups should the need arise.

Quick release plate fits my Joby gorilla pod, but leaves a little wiggle room. As I walk with GoPro attached, I can hear and feel that there's a little room in there. Not great for something that's meant to provide rock solid support, but so far I haven't noticed situations where it has impacted a shot too badly.

I use these to mount my cameras and flashes on there respective tripods. I love having everything interchangeable and having all tripods with the same sized plate. The biggest negative here is the price. These really should be 10 dollars at the most.

These are quick mounts. They work with my cameras and lights. Ok.for a gopro or my fuji xv100 I'm not mounting my medium format with it.

I needed a quick release base to attach the Joby quick release plate in my camera to a gimbal. Well, the adapter that looks like a base for tripod/gimbal is actually a COLD SHOE base, not the corresponding quick release base, so I ended up with another camera plate and no base to attach it to. Useless purchase. Misconceived product.

Gorillapods have no discernible model numbers so it is difficult to select spare parts - this comment serves simply to confirm that this QR plate pack fits the grey/black gorrillapod as illustrated in the attached photos.

Had the hobby without this for a while but adding this on is a no brainer
