Level Gauge for fuel oil with antenna extension for underground tanks, external tanks or applications with radio dead zones plus separate display - The EcoMeter Plus (with 30Ft antenna extension) allows you to place the transmitter outdoors, outside the tank. This ensures an optimal radio signal between the radio module and the monitor when used in underground tanks, manholes, inaccessible or radio dead areas. - A further advantage is that the bar display of the sensor can be placed visibly on the surface. - We recommend the EcoMeter Plus if the sensor is to be mounted ≥0.65 ft lower (inside cisterns, manholes, shafts, etc.), or in shafts or manholes under metal or concrete covers, otherwise no data can be received from the monitor. - The Proteus EcoMeter has therefore already been purchased more than a million times in Europe! What are the advantages? - With the EcoMeter, the tedious inspection of the cellar is no longer necessary. - You will be able to conveniently monitor the heating oil level on the radio display from a distance, be informed of the remaining volume and can therefore order in advance. - The EcoMeter consists of an innovative, battery-operated ultrasonic sensor plus a separate radio display. The installation is possible on all fuel oil and oil tanks in a few minutes without expert knowledge. - No wiring necessary - Due to the non-contact level measurement, there are no mechanical parts in the fuel oil tank and thus no wear, no sinking, no jamming of the float. - The digital radio display (with mains plug) shows a lot of further information and can be set up at a distance of up to 490ft from the ultrasonic sensor.-For more information regarding the EcoMeter and the Setup and installation, please watch our YouTube videos under "E-Sensorix" or "EcoMeter". Please be aware that all the measurements are indicated in the standard US (not the European metric) system!

Full of restrictions. Not well designed.
I have a tank that is 5 inches under ground so I bought the meter with antena extension. First surprise is that the antena extension has NO conector, so I had to cut the cable to pass it through a tube to protect it. Secondly I found that each time there is a power loss in the Meter, to re-sincronize the antena, the meters to put it near the rocket again, meaning taking all the meter out of the installation and bring it near the meter. This is not well designed. Second, my steel tank has a flange of 2 inches high where I can put the sensor. Although it is said in the catalog that 2 inches is OK, the meter doesn't detect any measure and I get a warning signal in the rocket of error with no measure. Finally, I wanted to use the meter in another scales (liters, cms, etc.) and found out that it is not possible to change units. Not a good products at all. I finally had to show it away and lost my money.
