Egg Yoke Hardy Hibiscus Seeds - 20+ Seeds Per Packet

I received them – but I think somehow the seeds were either mismarked or are not Rose of Sharon seeds. Unless these are labled wrong but I do not think so.I have several Rose of Sharon bushes that are various colors and wanted to add additional colors so that is why I chose the ones I did.The seeds I received are not Rose of Sharon. I save seeds from my plants every year and they look totally different from the ones sent to me.I sincerely do not believe I’ve received the right ones.Once they start growing & hopefully bloom I will then find out what it is that I’ve gotten and until then I will update my feedback accordingly.

These are good quality. I do not have a green thumb. I planted 18 of these seed and now have 11 plants. The seeds were peeled out of husk as they should be. I took a razor blade paint scraper, washed it with hydrogen peroxide. Then took the razor blade and cut the very bottom (never cut the inside) of the u shaped seed. Next I soaked the seeds in hot faucet water (do not use boiling water) for 20-24 hours. Then I planted them approximately 1/4 inch deep. These were up within a week.☺☺☺☺

I started in seedling medium under grow light system at my living room, March 10th 2016. 3 out of 18 seeds sprouted. They are healthy and growing well. I put them in my front flower garden, May 15th 2016.

Planted 3 seeds in a pot and 1 germinated, I think. The leaves and form on what's growing are so unlike any other Hibiscus I have that at this point I'm no sure what it is.

5 seeds germinated, but they produced small pink flowers---not a yellow in the bunch!

I was pleasantly surprised! I planted four seeds, all four germinated. Very happy.

The seeds that are sprouting are NOT Hibiscus. This was a gift. I'm very disappointed.
