Perfect for outdoors, as described, for ambiance not necessarily for light, last all night
Love these. They look exactly as the pictures. They are for ambiance, not necessarily to bright a room or anything. We have them outdoors in the trees and they have worked perfectly in rain and snow. They are very pretty and stay sealed from the weather. They do need direct light to charge during the day and then they have lasted all night and then some. They turn on automatically when it is dark and have a switch to turn them off if you wish. Had an issue with some of the hangers pulling apart when we attached them, but the company replaced them right away and the new ones were fine. Good customer service.

Excellent Purchase!
We bought these to actually put in lanterns we already had. They are nicer, brighter and prettier than the original solar lights that came with the lanterns! I will definitely purchase these again!

Great idea with a whimsical touch!
Super cute and so easy!!!! I can imagine if you put piece of mirror or sequins it might really take these to the next level. They are easy to use and work great on ball jars. The pic does not do then justice. Even in Portland Oregon with overcast skies they worked right away.

No More Batteries! Well at least those pesky CR2032 variety
Update 3.23.19 - Updated back to original 5 stars.Using these solar LED lights as intended with charging them in direct light they will work for your needs. If charging them indoors, they MUST be in direct light, ambient light is not sufficient for charging.Update 3.20.19 - Downgraded to 2 stars from 5.These LED lights CRAVE full sunlight. i.e. Leaving them in an area that is well lit for normal day activities is not sufficient enough to charge the batteries in these units.Over the last few days I have experimented with the placement of the units. This is in the Olaf jar, the Beauty/Beast setup and multiple mason jars from the remaining pack. As the lights were not lasting more than a few moments as how I applied them.Placing the solar units...... In direct sunlight - inside & outside = happy lights... Direct under LED kitchen lights = happy lights... In a room with blinds open and brightly lit, yet in slight shadow = lights last all of 10 minutes... Room bright enough to read a book without direct sunlight = lights last all of 5 minutesThe solar panel is definitely not as efficient as you would expect. Heck, the solar panel in my calculator performs better. Cannot confirm if the overall resistance of the AAA is too great to be charged. Or if the sensor that measures the amount of daylight doesn't function properly. If you are looking to use these inside your home. I would pass on purchasing these. Expect to require full sunlight to get them charged.*********3.11.2019I was tired of changing out the CR2032 batteries in the LEDs I was using for a "Beauty & The Beast" flower & shadowed Olaf I put together for my daughter on a semi-monthly basis. While they do not cost that much, they add up over time... Plus opening up the battery holder could be an annoyance at times. With the solar option they charge during the day to be used at night. I no longer have to worry about battery life. Even if they only obtain a partial charge during the day, they will last long enough for her at night.I did purchase the six pack option and have assembled them with some spare mason jars. But haven't activated them, minus testing them out... Will probably attempt a "chandelier" for our patio cover, or a mobile, or something something...For the price point, I would buy again.

Early Failure...
Of these six jar lights, one has already stopped working and another has gotten very dim even though they are all getting direct sunlight... I'd caution against buying these jar lights....not worth the money.

Love these
These hang off our screened in porch. They look cute during the day and awesome at night. The fairy lights give off a relaxing light.

They work and last quite long
I’ve only had one of my original 4 fail... and this new batch is working well. They do fill up with water if it’s a heavy rain.
