This is a must for me for all it container plants. Especially for house plants. I can water them and leave house for 2 weeks and not worry about the health of my plants. Will be using all the time

I used this for both my indoor and outdoor plants. Keeps soil moist but not wet. Slowly releases the moisture to make it easy to water plants and not overwater. Has saved me time and wasted money on plants.

I use this when I have to pull a toilet out. Kill water to toilet, flush to remove tank water. Sprinkle some of this in there and give it a smoke break. Come back and remove the toilet with no water going all over from the water that is contained in the p-trap. When you reinstall the toilet and turn the water on it will rinse all those crystals down with one flush and Pete's your aunt. Don't need but maybe an ounce of it, so a bag goes a long way.

Great stuff! Would prefer the larger crystals, but this is fine. It says to put in soil dry, be very,very cautious because 6 TBS. make over 2 gals. I put it in water first, added soil & fertilizer, then equal part soil. Works grit. To start cuttings.

Definitely holds moisture, but make sure not to use too much as it swells amazingly.

Use this in super soil recipe. Use two cups per about 10 cubic ft of soil. Bag supplies about 3.5 cups. Wish bag could be purchased in larger amount at cheaper price per ounce. That said, they hold a huge amount of water and are a great additive to soil.

I mixed these into the soil and watered it. It takes a lot of water to start with. The problem I had was that over time they float to the top and form a sort of crust that absorbs all the water. My plants started to die and I couldn’t figure out why. Then I realized that I had to dig down below the beads to water my plants in order for the roots to get water. I finally dug out as many of them as I could and my plants are happy again (though I list one bougainvillea because of this). I would say to avoid using these.

It does what it says. You should follow the directions. I used a bit much in one pot. It pushed everything up about 4 inches. Lol. The individual kernels get about the size of an average ice cube from the size of a pepper corn. Keep that in mind.
