Better than I expected, great if you dont need the real thing
The helmet came with 2 sets of pads to personalize the fit, a nice drawstring carrying pouch, and easy to understand fitment instructions. The shoud fits my Wilcox mount as expected, but it is a plastic shroud and there is a little visible flex when you pull on the mount. I would never use with real NVG without a backup tether in case the shroud fails. In use with a PVS 14, it definitely gets the job done and will probably suffice as a better option than a typical skull crusher if you want an inexpensive nvg platform that is less uncomfortable than a skull crusher.I wouldn't trust it for use as a safety helmet for cycling or UTV use since it isn't rated as such. But it feels pretty solid and it will probably offer some limited protection versus bumping your bare head on things. If I felt a little more confident in the shroud I would have given it 5 stars. It also included a couple of sliding mount adapters to mount a flashlight or other gear to the attachment rails on the sides.

Surprisingly well made. Get one
Ordered the Green 1. Manufacturer actually put a lot of work into it and made a good product. Everything works, no blemishes or faults, decent quality. Good English instructions on how to set up. Tac light sits sturdy on the rail.Sizing dial actually works, and headband can bend forward to insert ear pro to wear under the helmet. Haven’t tried attaching nods to it as I wouldn’t trust the mounting bracket.Don’t know how it’ll fare against a baseball bat, rather not find out but it will protect your dome from bumping or falling. Better than nothing and great for range days or training at least. Good buy.

Plastic NVG mount
Only complaint is that the NVG mounting shroud is plastic. Luckily had an Ops-Core metal mount handy to replace it with.

Quality product at a good price
I bought this to use as a cycling helmet. I was impressed by the quality of the product. It looks good. The padding was very good and my head felt very secure. There is additional padding included. The chin straps have four attachment points so it can be customized to meet a variety of head shapes and sizes. There is Velcro and rails on the helmet for attaching things like lights, GoPro cameras and patches. This would be a great product for adventure sports, but I didn't prefer it as a bike helmet due to the shape, and I found that due to the position of my head (tilted back) while riding it made my neck a bit sore. That might have been remedied by further adjustment of the chin straps and getting more used to wearing it.Overall a very good product at a good price. I just didn't have the right application for it.

Perfect for a costume!
Let’s be honest: if you want a “bump” or training helmet that will offer protection and be able to safely support your pricey NVGs, then shell out $200 for a bump helmet. If you want all that plus ballistic protection, shell out more money for a real ballistic helmet. Otherwise, this is perfect for my Halloween costume! I added a multicam mesh cover and attached my old Xbox headset to the 1913 rail. Perfect for cosplay!

Everything on it is great, except for the sloppy Velcro Job
The helmet is great! It is comfortable, it fits good, but the Velcro is crooked and sloppy.

Ok
Bought this helmet for my son to join in on night time training. Padding is better than most I’ve seen in cheap helmets. It’s adjustable and you get shallow and deep sets of pads. Retention system is adjustable and ok. Nvg shroud had to be modified “dremel with a router bit” to fit a Wilcox g24. I added shock cord kit to better hang on to my nods when boy is running them. This helmet is nothing more than a bike helmet. Actually less because it’s not certified. Ok trainer until son stops growing and we buy real thing.Ok for price.
