Great Device Replacement
This was an easier install than getting the old one out, but still a little difficult. The inclusion of the plastic balls was good for stopping leaks Setting the distance that the stopper was the hardest problem to solve Everything a person would need to repair a lavatory stopper was included Good job

Like the all metal construction. Had problems with the with the limited selection at Home Depot.

offers 3 fitting options
contains fitting for pfister, moen, or universal nut gasket. Use plumbers tape and washer to seal the deal. no leaks!

Questionable long lasting quality?
Pattern hole cut piece is very thin so not sure it will last long!

Does not leak of you use the included Teflon tape
As a few other reviewers have noted, I installed the kit and it leaked. I then used the included white Teflon tape and wrapped the threaded part before I screwed on the ball and the leaking went away. I wish the kit came with instructions but when I used the Teflon tape on the ball thread install and the other threads it worked for me.

Leaks between ball and thread
Others successfully sealed between ball and the thread (where ball goes on rod) but I couldn’t get it to work. Do not recommend
