This endoscope works exactly as advertised if you follow the included instructions. I was able to hook to my android phone using the app, and take pictures and videos. The endoscope was submerged in a drain pipe for at least an hour and worked flawlessly. You definitely need to attach it to a more rigid item, like a plumbing snake, to push it more than a few feet into a pipe. I would definitely recommend this item.

Bought it as a gift

The product states it has a rechargeable battery yet when I received the product I found there is no charging cable that came with it. I would think if no charger is included it should state it is sold separately.

Good product. I recommend using an inactive phone as you do have to download an app. And giving camera permissions to apps can be dicey. But other than the app download everything worked great. Instructions are easy.

I purchased this to inspect a storm water drain, but the first time I placed it in the drain it immediately fogged up to the point it was useless. It only got wet and was not submerged in water when the fogging began. I have tried to use it a few more times since then, but have gotten the same results. It is basically useless now.

Camera glass broke very easily.

I was able to set up the device with the app, but only after long charging. However, every time I turn the endoscope power off and then on again, I have to reset the wifi and reset the connection with the app and my smartphone. It is a huge hassle and doesn't always work anyway. I should be able to turn it off and back on, once I've set it up, and be able to use the device.

I would not buy this product. I finally got to use it for what I ordered. there is no strength in the cable so you have to rig up something to make it even work.if the space you are using it isn't 100 free and clear of any debris the camera doesn't show anything.
