The Grinch Gingerbread House Kit by Illumination | 29 Ounces

The gingerbread house kit arrived sounding like a baby’s rattle- the actual gingerbread was securely wrapped in the box and unbroken but the candies were open and rattling around the box and the candy canes were smashed. I discarded the candies so my grandkids wouldn’t try to eat them and will buy different candies to use- maybe rethink the packaging for this- it’s a cute idea.

took this to my great grandson who is autistic. it was perfect for us to do together! he loved it and you can do nothing wrong, no matter how you put the decorations on, which is perfect for him. he is six years old and I think this is great for any child between two and six or even older because there are really no rules as to how you can apply the candy decorations. the only problem was that we could not get the Grinch to stand up; he's too gummy and wiggly and just falls over. but what a great thing for an adult to do with the children in their life! it came out beautiful!

Fun gingerbread house

Unfortunately 2 years in a row our gingerbread house arrived with broken pieces. We had to use the icing for glue and have vowed not to have our gingerbread house kits shipped any longer.

Thought it was cute to purchase with the new movie out. But the cookies for the sides of the house were broke and so were the candy canes. Very disappointed after spending $20!

My son was so excited for this gingerbread house. We opened it up and the pieces were all broken. In addition, the icing bag had a large rip in it. He was so disappointed. His sister was so sweet and offered to give him hers. When he opened hers up not only were all the house pieces broken but the plastic it was in was opened up. So both of the house kits were no good.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! This product and manufacturer is clearly not capable of shipping it and having it arrive as it should. It arrived with the gingerbread broken in to many pieces and one of the bags of candy decorations was open. All this and cannot return it. The rating should really be zero. I would recommend buying any other gingerbread kit at a local store rather than wasting it buying this one.

DO NOT BUY! Just received today and opened up for my daughter (who was so excited) to find out the front of the gingerbread house was broken not just in two, but many pieces. What a disappointment and it’s not an item that can be returned...so we are stuck with a broken product that will never look like the one on the actual box.
