Electronics-Salon Screw Terminal Block Breakout Module, for Arduino MEGA-2560 R3.

I wish I'd have known about this years ago, because after so many projects struggling with reliable pin connections, this thing makes life so much easier! I've gone so far as to unsolder the built-in headers on Arduino Megas and soldering screw terminals for more reliable connections -- and this accomplishes the same thing but is much easier. If you happen to blow up your Mega, this also makes it easy to swap in a new one. COST is a big factor as it's expensive, but it's so well worth it to me! It's a very high-quality part as well. CAUTION: It's not always convenient to access the screws of a terminal when the one above it has already been wired -- especially with ferrules as I prefer to use. So you will save time by attaching your wires in an order to allows access to the screws near the bottom before adding wires above them.

I think this is a great addition to an Arduino Mega 2560 . There are 92 clearly marked and well organized terminals. They can take up to 18 AWG solid wire . The terminals are well oriented for ease of access. I do have one minor quibble. The 6-pin SPI connector ,that I use for programming, is a little bit off-center. This has required sanding the connector on one side with a Dremel. I don't know why the block was not centered.

This product is amazing. The multiple V and GRD ports and screw terminals for everything have made my project simple and neat.

The best for Arduino Mega ! Every student should get this! Way better than bread board for projects. Secure those wires. Get more 5v options

The Salon Screw Terminal Block Breakout Module was perfect for my arduino app. It fit perfectly and snugly forming a solid bond with the Arduino mega 2560. May have to remove some wires when trying to get to a screw terminal, but the trouble is minor. Would definitely buy again.

An excellent little tool, all told; it would be just peachy were the thing to replicate LED 13 and provide buffered LEDs for comms terminals 1 and 2, were terminals 44 through 46 marked as PWM as are 2 through 15, and were it to identify the interrupt pins, but those are quibbles rather than show stoppers. I use it daily, and am grateful for it many times on each of those days.

The MEGA is my go to for projects and this is my go to for prototyping and production shields. When I need to ship something out to a client that would normally have duponts on it, this is a must.

I have several of these that I use for prototyping before moving the components on to a PCB. How much is your time worth? This helps one to build a system and test it out. Works well!

Before this arrived, we had some 60 individual wires running from an Arduino Mega to relays to power a home made full cover scoreboard. It was painful as a wire would pull out or be loose, creating frustration. This terminal block was the perfect solution.
