Simple but fun.... the kids had a good time rubbing over the templates making many designs. Sturdy plastic

These rubbing plates met our needs. We attached them to tables using masking tape then had kids place drawing paper over them and rub with the flat side of a crayon. Results for the most part were really good. As a tip, if you want to rotate and do a another color over the top, place your finger in the center when rotating so the center stays where it belongs and everything aligns correctly. Also rub along the length of the lines, not across them or the effect will be smuggy which was especially true for the squares and rays.

These are wonderful for easily adding visual interest to artwork. My students love them for recess and free time activities, and the art teacher has borrowed them to use with her students.

Cheap plastic. Would be nicer if they were thicker hard plastic. They make ok patterns. I think they should cost a lot less.

The rubbing plates are wonderful ---- the designs are deep enough to produce a very nice design - truly wonderful.
