FANTASTIC!! So much better than any cards for recipes you can get at an office supply. Put them in a plastic sleeve and use them for years as they don't bend easily. I use 4x6 cards so I can write BIG....so I can see without glasses. I bought a double side by side (4x6 card) wood box from Kitchen Supply and put handles on it. For long term, this works better for storing recipes than a binder and with these cards, you can change up the recipe at little expense. If the recipe is long when you get to the bottom of the card flip it upright to finish. I only put the VERY BEST in the box as I don't want more than a months (or so) worth if you cook every night (as I do). My mothers and grandmothers recipes are in separate boxes. This product is what has been missing for numerous years as far as a thick card stock 4" x 6" index card....like from years ago.....if you order this product you will like.........the 140 # card stock is far superior to the other advertised 80 # cards....you can't go wrong with this product.....when I pick up ONE card.....I think there is two or three there.......but it is only ONE....

After being very disappointed at the quality of other large index cards, I decided to spend the money and try these. They're worth every cent!!! Quality paper, very heavy duty, easy to write on, and the lines are neatly printed. I'm using these for my recipes, so they get handled frequently, and they're holding up well. I would recommend them.

The search for decent file cards is over... great product, affordable, nice edges, just the right thickness and hold ink properly.

Made from heavy card stock, and they are smooth and a pleasure to write on.(These cards are not made from the thin, flimsy, cheap, rough, blotter paper they started using a few years ago and have the nerve to call file cards!)

EXCELLENT note cards!use these to construct flashcards for TCM Formulas class.The only reason it's not 5 stars: i'm a grad student and live hand-to-mouth. Paying nearly $50 for index cards is a pricey choice..
