The exact solution we were looking for! These pipe fittings perfectly fit the Harris Farms Poultry Nipples ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B3H2AK6 ). Having the nipples screw in perfectly to these fittings saves a huge hassle of drilling straight holes, dealing with leaks at the joins, etc. NOTE: the Little Giant Poultry Nipples do not fit these pipe fittings — the threads on the nipples are too small to make contact with the pipe fittings.

Works great for the nipples or cups for chickens\ducks to drink out of. It dropped below freezing and 2 of them cracked quickly. Not a big deal, however its a large system of multiple lines and only these cracked during the freeze, everything else, all joints, cupplers, straights, Y's, adapters, reducers, and fittings for water hoses etc all survived with no cracking or anything. Clearly its a lighter or not as strongly made product as the others in the system making it the weak link.

If you've ever put PVC plumbing together you know how simple these are to use. I originally ordered just the cups and installed them in my automatic watering system in my chicken coop. They work great. But I needed an automatic watering system for my brooder box as well and I didn't want to risk any leaks so I built that one with these Cruzadel Tees and it works flawlessly. Couldn't be happier as the last one I built in the brooder box used the other style of poultry watering cups and sure enough my chicks managed to jam one open, dumping almost five gallons of water into their brooder box. If I hadn't lined it with 6 mil plastic it would have been ruined. As it was--well, nasty mess. No mess with these tees and RentACoop automatic chicken watering cups.

When assembling with standard 1/2 Schedule 40 PVC pipe it was a struggle. The inner diameter appears to have an over aggressive taper. After applying PVC Cement to both the Tee fitting and the pvc pipe, it took a lot of force to fully engage the fitting and if you let go too soon the Tee and Pipe will shoot apart. You have to give the usual twist and then hold with lots of force for more than 20 seconds before they won't shoot apart. Because of the tension it is hard to keep the pipe straight in the tee. after assembling a few of them together to make a quail waterer manifold, found the assemble made an aggressive (not slight) arch. Upon further examination, the tees appear to be deformed and more flared out around the area of the pipe. This indicates a lot of tension in the connection and is likely the tees will just split as some point in the future due to this tension. I have never experienced such an issue with any PVC fittings before this product.
