This is a simple solution of unruly cables around your work space. We have already had neoprene cable management ties but wanted something to cover up the power strip and everything attached to it, as this was really the core problem of all of the "clutter".The box was made of a simple white plastic, nothing special save for the rounded edges to give it more of a "not so basic" appearance. The plastic itself felt very flimsy to me, especially given the price-point, yet at the time, two years ago, it was really the only option that I could find on Amazon.Since then, our cable management organizer has held up well yet we've decided to go on ahead and purchase some wooden ones as they look a bit more prettier.

I tried one of these Cable Management Box Organizers and loved it, so I bought two more.It's amazing how much fits into these organizers, including power strips, surge suppressors, and lengths of cable and wire. All my cable TV stuff fits in beautifully and has transformed the TV corner of my living room from sloppy-looking to tidy and neat. I'm about to install one in my home office to clear up the mess from two computers, two printers, wif fi box, telephones, answering device, lamps, etc. Can't wait to see the transformation.The plastic is sturdy, trim, and neat-looking; the side slots accommodate alot of cables and wires; the top fits snugly. I'm no longer tripping over cables and wires and also no longer worry about my dog getting near exposed wires. I like both the white and the black colors.

My biggest concern was, would a 6 prong power strip, along with my 4 plug extenders, with all of my cat6 cable fit into this box. With some fine manipulation of the wires, everything fit in there nicely. My second, and smaller concern was with the thickness of the box edges. I would have preferred the box walls to be thicker, giving the box a sturdier build, as the top was easy pop off when a wire was pushed up against it. I guess this is to prevent the box from cracking anywhere. Wasn't that big of a deal.The box itself was perfect and made my rat's nest look very clean and organized.

This is a second such box/organizer I now have. This one is a little cheaper than the first one that I got, but the specs are so close to being the same this was a no brained to get. After the fact, you have reduced the eyesore of so many electrical cables plugged into a multi outlet strip into a box with access slots at both ends. Just make sure you have enough slack in the cables to allow for placement and putting the cover back in place. It will look neater, easier to keep clean in that area plus you have less of a chance to unplug with your feet.

I got this to contain some of our cords now that our baby is crawling, and also to make the pile of cords under our wall-mounted TV look less ugly and messy. It's not completely childproof as the top comes off easily, but luckily our kid hasn't discovered this yet - but honestly, I purchased it knowing it didn't lock shut or anything so no stars off for that. I think if necessary I could tape it shut, but for now it keeps the cords out of his way and it looks great too!

I love this thing. My home office looks so much neater since I wrangled all these cables. My husband wants one for every room now. Its such a simple product but its large enough and easy to get open and closed. They send you some long twist ties too and that helps hold everything together in the box. You would not think it would make that much difference but in my cluttered office, it's a life saver. Will purchase again!

The point of this box has been realized. It tidies up the octopus of wires. Prevents the plugs from being banged around. Makes it easy to clean around the box rather than wires. Keeps the cats from chewing on the wires. Buying one more as I want organized wires. When I get too much time on my hands, I am going to fancy them up with paint and stenciling. Oh, the tops on both boxes I have are firmly in place.

I got this box because I was fed up with seeing an ugly pile of cords on my floor everyday. I wish I had gotten this box sooner. It really makes a difference because it hides away and organizes all the cords. The box is larger than I thought it'd be, but it turned out to be just the right size to fit a big power strip in it. Along with the power strip and charger cord, it also fits my big laptop charger. The organizer box also comes with 2 very long, black wire ties to tie up your cords.I definitely recommend this if you want to declutter and streamline your space.
