Love this couples devotional. I bought this for my daughter and her boyfriend. Very nurturing Christian advice for young couples.

This is a very good book! This may be the best book out there for anyone in a serious dating to marry relationship. It properly addresses communication, family, purity, money and generosity and tons of other subjects and has a great tone throughout! It is exactly what we were hoping. We had looked at multiple other books, some very odd or with problematic, non-biblical views, but this one is perfect!! These would make a great as gifts to couples getting engaged or even earlier. Highly recommended!

My husband and I bought this before we got married, but still use it as a married couple since there are messages within that are relevant to how we can continue to remain healthy and focused on God within our marriage. We have highlighted and written in the book. We sit down each week to go through a devotional together. I think it can be easily paired with additional talk of verses and is easy to create a beginning point for conversation.

My boyfriend and I have been working through this for the past few weeks, and we've been able to have the best conversations and prayer times. I can't recommend this devotional enough for young couples like us, it prompts a lot of serious development needed in anticipation of a Godly marriage. We like to take turns reading each week aloud to one another, but that's not required; I just suggest it since it adds a nice little routine to it. Definitely set aside about an hour when you read, the chapters are short but conversations that come from them can be long, detailed, and very important. I hope whoever else buys this has the same wonderful results we've seen.

Great content, but sweet baby Jesus, who the heck edited this book? A 17th century English professor from Cambridge? This book is atrocious for reading out loud as the grammar chosen, while technically correct, is not phrased in any way for the modern "young person".

I purchased this for myself significant other and I and it quickly became a staple in helping guide our relationship to the Lord.

My now fiance and I decided to start this devotional together when we were then in a broken up boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. We had dated for awhile but had broken up after a big fight/misunderstanding but we were trying to make things work and build trust back up. I'm SO GLAD we we did. We focused on God together and each week we'd read a study together on the phone. We missed several weeks and only did them on Monday nights but we always got back to it and didn't miss too many in a row. We prayed together and read the lessons and discussed how we felt about them. We later on, several weeks in, got back together and kept growing closer and learning to communicate better through this book and prayer. God's timing was so perfect it seemed. On the last devotional, we had kept having things come up that accidentally kept pushing back the final lesson about a month. We got engaged and read the last one together as an engaged couple 💜 We loved this book!

I will say this is a must have book for a couple thinking about marriage. Or even dating with the intent of it turning into that. I will warn you. This will either strengthen your relationship, or make your realize your ill prepared for marriage with the one you picked or they aren't the one. I loved the conversation and very necessary subjects this book brings out. As I said. If you want to see where you stand and if you're prepared for marriage. Get this book. Just remember marriage is a out becoming "one flesh". To mold with each other. You will definitely see if you can with this book.
