339585 Roll-Top Stainless-Steel Bread Box

It is not a pure white, it is a beautiful off white color. I decided to pay a bit more after researching and reading reviews on various bread boxes/bins...thus purchasing this Brabantia model. I am 100% happy with the quality, functionality and look of this product. The rolling open function of the lid is so smooth. I like the fact that I can use the top back portion as a shelf for smaller items. It does hold two long loaves of bread, and the bread stays fresher a bit longer. Very attractive and keeps my counter looking less cluttered. I think I'm going to have to order a second one, to place on an opposite wall counter. It would be great to store commonly used medications, bills, paperwork, extra kitchen items, etc. This product was well packaged...free of dents and dings...and I promptly received my order. I would highly recommend seller and bread box.

After reading all the other reviews for this item, I decided go with this breadbox rather than the wooden one I was considering, and I'm very glad I did. First, it is a good size. We can fit two whole loaves of bread and some smaller bakery items in it. Also, although it is advertised as "white" it actually is an attractive off-white, which some reviewers pointed out, and which made it more appealing since we were putting it on top of our off-white refrigerator. It looks really good there. As some other reviewers pointed out, it can slide around a bit, but we put some small felt pieces on the bottom which helped stabilize it. All in all, we are VERY happy with it. It is very functional and very attractive (better-looking than the advertised photo).

3.5 I have had this brand of breadbox before and knew that one has to be gentle when raising and lowering the lid as overall this breadbox is not the most sturdy around. And as others have said, it is not a "true" white (but close enough for me). But what I like best about this breadbox, and why I bought it, is because I can place it up against the back of the counter and do not have to move it at all in order to access what is within. The lid opens into itself. But be warned (again) that you need to be gentle when doing so; otherwise, you will break the (somewhat cheap) construction. I also like that the top is level, so I can place items on top of the box as well. And it does hold a lot of items.

This is a well-made metal breadbox that feels sturdy. The size is perfect for the top of the microwave. The cover slides back smoothly and doesn't take up interior space. The color is more of a very light cream or butter rather than appliance white. There are less expensive breadboxes out there but most of them feel tinny and cheap. This is much more like what you may have seen in Grandma's kitchen years ago when things were made to last. Overall, a good value that I expect will last many years and clean nicely.

I recently started baking my own bread and needed a good storage that would keep it fresh for a few days! This has been perfect. It is big and I can fit 2-3 loaves in there and my bread has been keeping fresh for over a week! I like how there is space on top for things, not heavy things, but I do place my iPhone stand and iPhone on top to charge. Great quality and very simple and modern looking.

No more plastic bags for our home made bread. We tried other ways of storing bread bit this is the first one that keeps our bread perfectly moist without molding. No lid to lose or drop either. The sides of my white box are white. It looks great on the counter and holds 2 loaves of my bread. I'm so glad I spent the extra money and waited the extra time for it to arrive because it's just what I was hoping it would be.

This looks nice but that is it. It does not hold 2 loafs of bread , it won't even hold one loaf. I bought this for my wife and it was like geting her nothing she was happy to see it but then when she tried to use it was point less. Would not refer to any one. Worst buy on amazon in a very long time

I love this breadbox! I haven't had one in years. This fits my white kitchen decor nicely. It has a smooth roll action and seems to be of sturdy construction and finish. Nice size and flat top where we store our white, covered butter dish. I liked it so much I searched for other Barbantia products; unfortunately there was nothing else I needed at this time. I would definitely recommend this product and this brand!
