Rare. But get the movie instead.
It all sounds better in the movie itself. Some of the added material doesn't quite work..and a lot of the overall score is missing...some of that material composed by ..at the time..blacklisted composers.

Album presentaton could have been better
I am very much disappoined in the sound track album of this motion picture. 7 Wonders is one of those 1950's Cinerama presentations which literaly went all over the world to seek out the so-called seven wonders of the world. The DVD of the film itself has not been released yet but it is one I am really anxiously awaiting. This album didn't even have the original overture or main title music in it, and had more than one track with the original Lowell Thomas narration. Good as Thomas was, I would rather any soundtrack album of this score not have it, and I believe with the technology available nowadays it could easily have been done without. If this restoration job is as good as some of the other movies in the series have been, we're in for a real treet because I believe this was one of the best. just forget about getting this particular soundtrack album though.

Not enough music but worth having
Although the music on this CD is wonderful most of it is marred by the continual narration of Lowell Thomas. I kept wanting to shout "Shut up and let me hear the music!" Thankfully a re-recorded suite of some of the score composed by Jerome Moross has been included. There are some brief passages without narration (Entr'acte and Exit Music) but be prepared that there isn't much music on the CD without narration over it.

Great achievement
This outstanding CD is a long overdue tribute to the composers, participants and producers of the excellent Cinerama music catalog.

Audio Cinerama Memories
Very happy with this album. Although most of the score includes Lowell Thomas' narration, there is a nice suite of the music written by Jerome Moross. It's great to have anything available from the old Cinerama movie.

Música excepcional pero....
Una gran decepción, pero no por la excelente música sino porque se trata de una edición en la que ésta es maltratada por la voz en off del documental.
