Used this brand and blend for years. I usually less than a full cup of rice when preparing. It easy to fix and little time. Add a sprinkle of sugar, dash of salt, a pat of butter. Better than dessert.

If you are pretty adventurous in the kitchen then I can highly recommend this delicious rice blend that even cooks up perfectly in a rice cooker. I have a small rice cooker and I used 1 cup of this rice plus 2 cups of water and pressed the button. About 15 minutes later I had rice ready to go. While I was waiting I fried 8 ounces of sliced white mushrooms in 1/4 cup water until just cooked. Then when the rice was done I used mitts to take the rice cooker liner out and I scooped the rice into the frying pan. Then I added 1/4 cup salted butter and let it melt into the rice, stirring well. This made an excellent side for meatballs in a sweet-and-sour sauce. Delicious! I'll definitely be getting this rice again. Quality is fair , value for your money not so much , it does cook perfectly if you follow directions. Healthy, and functions with so many dishes . No stick. My only complaint is how much it cost for how little you get.

If you are watching your diabetes but still want rice this may be your option. I don't like the texture of brown rice but am not able to consume much white rice. This is a good option. The different textures work well, no one rice overpowers the flavor of the other. It cooks well in my rice cooker.

I hate rice. Yellow rice. White rice. All rice. Except this rice. This is about the most amazing rice I have ever eaten. Add some celery, diced carrots and onion and herbs and it is second to none. I use chicken broth to cook it instead of water. My only wish is that the cooking directions on the back were a teeny bit smaller, I can still read them without a magnifying glass.
