Quality Round Waxed Cotton Dress Laces 2.5 mm Width, 75, 100, 125 or 150 cm Length

Does what it's required and they are of reasonable quality, however, I can't help but feel extorted by the £2 postage for something that's sent in a simple letter and 2nd class royal mail delivery. I feel like they're trying to make money from the postage to keep the advertised product price low.

Five quid (include postage gouging) for laces that snapped when pulled tight. Bought another pair, giving them the benefit of the doubt, and once again they frayed apart and snapped after 2 or 3 uses. Cheap crap.

Excellent product which I'm hoping will last longer than my previous pair - I seem to snap them on a regular basis. These look like they will weather well. My only slight criticism is that they come undone every so often as the wax means there is less friction between the laces.The laces were a little longer than I expected but that's my fault for not knowing how long the last pair were. It if helps I ordered the 125cm laces and my boots have 6 eyelets on one side (100cm would have been too short though).

Classic looking laces that are just the right shade of red, not too bright and vibrant, not too dark. Look brilliant on tan shoes (cannot comment on other colours!) and really finished off the look when paired with a red tie. It's the small details. I wear she shoes with these laces on every day and so far haven't had any issues, no fraying or discolouration to report yet.

I had bought some dress shoes but the laces were only 60cm long - leaving barely enough lace after threading to tie a know (let alone a double knot). These quality Dress shoe laces are an excellent fit both through the narrow eyelets and (in my case) the 75cm gave enough lace to add a double know. They were easy to pull tight and tie, remaining in place all day and evening.

Although advertised as being for dress shoes, I bought these laces for a pair of smart Gore-tex shoes that needed this style that combines a more formal look with water resistance. Although waxed (as I wanted), they are very flexible and make a suitable replacement for their worn-out predecessors.

Put these laces in a pair of boots. Have worn them 4 times since. Lace snapped as I was putting them on for the 5th time this morning. Woeful quality.
