Apple TV Siri Remote

this is a great remote control. I yet have one complaint about this remote as this remote is so thin and my hands are huge so it doesn't work well all the time but a case helps passed that it works well and performs as it should . It works well with connected devices that have remote connect or connectivity abilities. there can be some annoyances with the touch surface and how fast your fingers and input move can be cumbersome a bit but again this is over looked as you can set the input speed and surface control to a degree. overall this is a rough 5 star remote but it has a minimum learning curve, and also there are some how to videos on the apple website and the others on YouTube with YouTube trust these at your own risk most are good some are bogus.

It came super quickly which is great because busing the remote app sucks instead sucks! I have a love hate relationship with the design of hit it I found a solution to some of the issues The touch screen on my original remote slammed on my ground when I was changing my bed sheets and totally looked like a smashed iPhone. Yet, it still worked for quite a while after... until it didn’t. So they really are durable despite looking fragile but it’s the tiny flat size that cause them to get lost into the abyss that is my bed covers and blankets. I bought Tiles (the blue tooth locator trackers) in the sticker format and I never have to turn my sheets upside down looking for them (not to mention accidentally send it flying across the room in the process) plus the tiles have a button you can press to also locate your phone. Sticking them to the back helps make it more comfortable to hold! Buy the Tiles with these and never lose this tiny but well made remote again!

I lost my original apple remote than came with my apple tv and this was an identical replacement for it. The apple remote is the exact same product, and you would never know it wasn't the original that came with my apple tv. The remote came in perfect condition; there were no scratches or flaws on it, and it functioned as normal. I'm now on my second year using it and have had no issues with it whatsoever. I still purchased a silicone cover for my apple remote to better protect it from scratches and fingerprints. I would suggest doing this as it does make the remote grippier from sliding around and easier to find!

Worked exactly like my original Apple Remote I broke so that was great! Was compatible and perfect for my Apple TV. Love it!

I bought this, cause my old remote died. But it's not the same. It wont work on my apple tv, I thought I had 4th Gen. I put a pic up. Mine is on the left, can anyone tell me which remote I need? Thanks. Can I return this? UPDATE: I thought it didnt work on my Apple TV 4th. Not the newest. Was going to send back, but figured it out and works just as good as my old one. Definitly still need to get a rubber case, so it doesnt slip out of your hands. One thing, $52 for a tiny remote, so over priced!

The re-design of the menu button by including a raised ring around the surface of it makes a nice difference. Formerly, if it was dark and you picked up the remote there was a good chance you had it upside down in your hand without knowing it for a second as you fumbled to make it do what you want. Now that is alleviated, and you know immediately if you are holding it in the proper orientation to function. Our original remote got hit with some kind of juice (pull your mind out of the gutter) and the buttons were sticking. This was super easy to pair to the Apple TV, and works a champ. If your current remote is on the fritz, get this one!

This arrived dead as a doornail. i've tried charging it, leaving it next to the tv so it can pair...nothing, no charging light, no nada. I will call Apple and see if I can work my tv through my phone. Also--and I will pass this on to Apple--I am fed up with Apple's obsession to make the thinnest, smallest, easiest-to-drop, break or lose products. Remotes are already notorious for disappearing, and then Apple hands us this thing? In black? However, the voice control part on the one I can't find works better than on any other remote I have. UPDATE This previous review I have to correct. I called Apple help and I just didn't know how to pair it. So it's working fine now. However, my comments above about Apple making everything smaller and thinner--and black still stand and I've passed them on to Apple. And again, the voice control function on this remote works better by far than any of the other remotes I have.

I love my Apple TV 4K remote! I stepped on my other one. When I unboxed my official Apple TV remote directly from Apple, it connected quite easily. It comes with a new Lightning charging Cord too as an additional benefit! When you connect it to your Apple TV, simply be 6-12” away abd the Remote pairs with the Apple TV. It even paired with my sons older Apple TV standard definition. Now I have my master Apple TV remote to control the newest Apple TV model to the oldest! I love my remote!
