Great to freeze smoothies
These are great especially if you have a Ninja single. One smoothie made in the single Ninja fills up two of these compartments. I fill em up and put in the freezer. Just pop one out into a mason jar before bed, place in fridge. Smoothie is ready to go in the morning. Very level, no spill in freezer, easy to pop out frozen liquids, wash them in the dishwasher. Great buy for busy mornings.

Time saver, life saver.
Souper cubes are a godsend! I am a busy mom, work full time and in grad school. Even without all of that, these little pieces of kitchen equipment are worth every penny. I love being able to pull a brick out and throw it in my lunch to reheat while at work and enjoy a nice home cooked meal. I have numerous serving sizes and all haw held up for a few years now with no signs of wear or tear. They are freezer and dishwasher safe. The lid keeps a good seal, keeping my food safe from freezer burn. I love the different size options. If I happen to cook way too much, I will bust out my food saver and vacuum seal the bricks for extended freezer life.

Best Kitchen Addition
These are amazing! I have the 1 cup, 1/2 cup, and the 2 tablespoon version. They work amazing to allow you to freeze leftovers. I love using these for condensed soup and then placing the cubes in bags. It really helps for organizing the freezer and are much easier to than putting liquids in bags. They are expensive but the quality is good with solid edges ensuring the tray does not bend when you are transferring to the freezer.

Well made and perfect for soup season
I've now used these for two different batches of soup. They're sturdy, easy to clean in the dishwasher, and after a minute on the counter, the soup cubes popped out. I put the frozen blocks in a ziploc bag, and voila, someone who wants one portion of soup can thaw it out quickly. I may buy the 2 cup size, too. But it's nice to have the individual portions so you don't have to wait so long for something to thaw and be eaten. Worth the investment.

Great size
I have been using these cubes quite a bit lately. I love that I can freeze left overs in a neat way to not take up much space. I seem to be cooking for myself lately as my kids will often have other things to do. This makes it easy so the food doesn't go to waste. The frozen food comes out easily. The shape makes it easy to store and reheat. I did cook an egg dish and a casserole in the larger ones and they worked perfectly. My only problem with them is that they are difficult to store. I do not have a lot of space in my kitchen so I had to put them in the basement pantry. They do not fit into each other taking up lesser space.

Love the Concept, Hate the Corners
I love the idea behind Souper Cubes, and they work well for portioning and freezing food. My typical workflow is: fill them up, freeze overnight, pop the cubes into a bag, hand wash, and repeat. Simple and efficient. However, there are a few design flaws that make cleaning frustrating. The edges and corners have almost no radius, so food gets stuck and is hard to remove. A larger radius would be a simple but major improvement. Another issue is the lettering inside the trays. It traps food and takes extra effort to clean. The fill lines are fine, but the letters should be moved to the outside—ideally on the opposite side of the logo. Overall, Souper Cubes are a great idea, but these small changes would make them much easier to use and maintain.

Great quality
I loved mine so much I bought another set of the 1 cup as a gift for someone who lives alone. She was telling us that when she cooks a large batch of something she has to either eat it for long periods of time or freeze it but has to freeze in a big bowl. I knew these Souper Cubes would be perfect for her! My favorite thing so far to use them for is pre-cooking a large batch of rice and freezing it in smaller portions. Rice may not take a very long time to cook but having some ready and frozen in individual portions makes it convenient for this busy mom. I can vacuum seal them in small bags and the kids can grab one themselvesor I can take a few out for the family. Heating up food from smaller portions makes it thaw faster too! The 1 cup is a great size to get started. You don't have to fill them all the way and they have guide lines inside to show you the volume. I have tried both generic versions and the Souper Cubes official products. I actually prefer the Souper cubes. One of the generic copycat items arrived smelling strongly like plastic or chemicals. Souper Cubes smells like nothing. These are a stronger, thicker silicone that stand up easily on their own. Other brands are thinner and floppy. Souper Cubes came with a hard plastic lid that is easy to stack on. The cheaper ones have a silicone lid that flexes when you stack on top. Souper Cubes also come with some kind of metal frame inside the rim that helps them hold their shape and not flex when filled. You can bake in them but not microwave for this reason. You can not however bake with the lid on! Lid is not oven safe. They wash up very easily too. They cost more than the generic copies but I believe they are worth the investment not just for the convenience but the quality.

My favorite kitchen accessory!
I'm going to be honest: I don't spend a ton of time in the kitchen, I don't really like to cook all that much, I'm not big on leftovers, and I rarely rave about any kitchen gadgets, but I positively LOVE these SouperCubes and have bought multiple sizes of them and given them as gifts, as well. I have a couple of comfort soup recipes I love but are a pain to make, so when I do make them, I make double or triple batches. The problem in the past has been freezing them in large plastic containers--they take up way too much room in the freezer, and once frozen, it's super difficult to carve out a single serving, since the rest of my family isn't in love with those recipes. Even if they were, we'd still have to basically thaw the entire frozen thing and then eat the leftovers in a couple of days or it would all go to waste. These SouperCubes solve that dilemma! I can't overstate how much I love them, truly. I freeze the soup (or whatever I've made) in whichever size I need/want (and I've started making homemade pet food, too, so I can freeze portions of chicken or beef broth in the right sizes easily for making up pet meals, etc.), then once they're frozen, I pop them out of the cubes, wrap them individually in wax paper, and store them back in the freezer in freezer bags with the dates/contents written on the outside. It frees up space in the freezer and frees up the SouperCubes for more batches of other things. It's organized and so easy to pull out a single (or however many I need) serving to pop in a soup pot and heat back up in minutes for a homemade (and relatively healthy) meal. It's also helping me stay on top of making pet meals, which can be... a long process. They'd be great for making batches of homemade baby food, too, or portions of casseroles, or whatever your heart desires. They have a variety of sizes for whatever you need. I will admit these cubes are on the pricey side, so I try to wait for them to go on sale, but honestly they're worth the regular price. If I have one (minor) complaint about them, it can be a little difficult to get the food back out of the containers once it's frozen. It's very smooth, but it takes some hand strength, and my hands aren't the greatest. It helps to let the cubes warm up just slightly (not enough for anything to thaw) or to have a stronger person handy, but if you're the strongest one in your household and have difficulty, go slow, do let them warm up just slightly, and try going from one side to the other lengthwise rather than pressing in the middle and trying to pop the whole thing out at once. You can pretty much turn the whole slot inside out and it will pop back into shape and place by pressing it back in the right way, no problem. I don't know if that will create weaknesses/tears in the silicon over time, but so far I haven't had any problems with that. If you like to cook in large batches, meal prep, have a baby or pets you're making homemade food for, or anything of that nature, you need these. They'd also be great for making up batches of juice or your favorite frozen (alcoholic or not) cocktails ahead of time (for all you partiers out there--you know who you are.) Freeze and store them in the 1 cup sizes, drop one per guest into each glass to thaw a bit before they arrive, and enjoy--safely and responsibly, of course. Just be aware that with alcohol added they might stay sort of slushy, so you might need to store them in the cubes in that case and just scoop them out as needed. That's also an option for anything else if you don't need the cubes for other things right away and don't want to deal with the freezer bags, since they come with snap-on lids.

Perfect for soup
The one cup size is great for single serve soup starters, just needing to add a bit of extra liquid to make an easy meal. I love how sturdy and easy to use these are, and the measurement lines help to both built the portion and to know how full to make them - with inbuilt space for expansion during freezing

Fantastic purchase.
These Souper cubes are brilliant. I've tried several other makes, which were difficult to hold when they were full of food, especially if it was a bit runny. These have a reinforced rim aound the top, which keeps the tray rigid when you pick it up. The markings inside are clear and after the food is frozen, it pops out so easily. Also, you get a really tight fitting lid with a flap to make it easy to lift off. They are very easy to clean. Full marks for these, I've alrealy ordered more in the different sizes. More expensive than some other brands but worth every penny. Cherry McSharry

Game changer!
Absolutely love these trays, they are a game changer for meal prep. Easy to use and clean and good quality. I thought that they seemed quite expensive compared to just using a large silicone baking tray, but the solid part of the tray means that they hold their shape when carrying them and they can be stacked on top of each other. I have run them through the dishwasher and they have held up well. They can also be used in the oven, which is great for making small portions of cakes and bakes.
