Love this book. I am self-taught and I love that this book is easy to pick through and go straight to a recipe I need. Some chapters I read through and the author does a great job of explaining and walking you through the steps. Highly recommended!!

Some of the content do now follow the "current" best prentices from Qlik. But it is overall a good book.

Amazing book, even for seasonal qv developer. It sets a certain baseline of skills and technics, which a developer should remember and use. All the most important aspects of script writing, data modeling, interface design are presented - almost nothing to add!

The book is very well written : the receipes, into different chapters, are very well explained, step by step.And the trips are very usefull.Good job

As an architect/developer i felt Author lacks practical in-depth experiences. Very basics; please use YouTube videos than buying this book.

Should be at the top of the list for anyone interested in learning QlikView. I also recommend the Developers Cookbook.

Ich selbst entwickle Visualisierungen und Dashboards. Ich wollte meine Qlikview Kenntnisse durch dieses Buch weiter vertiefen. Die Themen, die abgearbeitet werden sind höchst interessant und können im konkreten Fall sicher weiter helfen.Jedoch muss ich gestehen, dass für mich der Praxisbezug etwas gefehlt hat. Da meine Kunden eher im Management, als in der Controlling-Abteilung angesiedelt sind, sind viele Dinge für mich nicht anwendbar. Wer auf Ebene eines Data Scientists tätig ist kann sein Know-How abrunden. Wer jedoch schnell und eindeutig errfassbare Kennzahlvisualisierungen erstellen will, der findet hier (leider) wenig.

Die Übungen anhand des durchgehenden Beispiels sind sehr gut nachvollziehbar gestaltet auch für Anfänger.Die Kapitellänge zumindest bei den ersten Kapiteln ist optimal gewählt. So kann man anfangs immer ein komplettes Kapitel abschliessen, was natürlich sehr motivierend ist.Auch Fortgeschrittene finden noch "Material" um die QlikView Anwendungen zu verbessern und die Qualität der Skripte und Oberflächen zu verbessern.

Ottima guida per chi vuole acquisire competenze in QlikView.Acquisto consigliato insieme al libro "Qlikview 11 Developer's Guide"... ..

Super le livre, un vrai livre de recette, il est clair, détaillé, précis, avec des exemples concret. De la technique à la portée de tous. Il est recommandé d'avoir des bonnes bases en Qlikview mais après c'est un jeu d'enfant.A mettre entre toutes les mains.
