I Really Needed This
I knew my husband and I earned enough money that we should have savings and be able to pay our bills comfortably. But it wasn't happening! Suze's funny, no-nonsense approach to finance helped me learn in ways other personal finance books failed to do. She includes anecdotes and stories that illustrate every concept, and it helped us considerably just to know there are others in the exact same situation as us. I always thought our financial situation was so unique. Suze makes you take a long, hard, honest look at yourself and shows how to adjust your thought patterns and destructive spending to allow for more powerful organization of your financial goals. I'm already seeing results and feel a refreshing sense of relief that we weren't hopeless, and excitement that there are better things to come.

Great Information
I highly recommend this book for getting your money in order and keeping track of where it goes. It teaches you how to develop good tracking habit. A great guide for someone who has little or no experience successfully handling their money.I bought this book because I had no experience and I found it to be a complete guide book.It is easy to use and straight forward. Not at all complicated.

Useful information
I believed the information was very useful. I used part of this to assist teaching a financial literacy course.

Great Resource!
While there is nothing new presented in this book about managing your money, Suze does an exceptional job of organizing the content in a very thoughtful provocative way to emotionally help you connect the dots. Great resource that can change your relationship with money.

Three Stars
I really like Suze, but this book would be better if it was in a spiral form.

Best guide to financial planning
She is the best financial counselor I have yet to read. Really breaks it down for everyone, male and female, rich or poor. Get the CD's too and the 9 steps to freedom. Great guides.

I wouldn't recommend unless you lived in US
Its an American based author, so much of the advice is suited to American people not international people. It does provide some interesting thoughts/discussions but other than that, I wouldn't recommend unless you lived in US.
