The only eggs I have bought for years. These eggs are always perfect, pasture raised and taste amazing. You will notice a difference as soon and you put it in a pan and you will taste a difference. These eggs are worth every single cent.

Vital Farms has the best eggs and is as ethical as you can get raising chickens -probably better than most people raising their own. The chickens are pasture-raised and get to run around and eat grass year round. They get shade and cooling in summer and decent housing with supplemental feed. I prefer the organic eggs -better for health since the chickens eat grass plus organic feed -but the non-organic are equally good and I buy them on occasion also. Look, I'm not vegan and I think a lot of vegans whine way too much about the ethics of eating honey, etc. Give me a break. However, when it comes to the way animals are routinely, inhumanely treated in the food industry... I agree with them 100%. Wherever possible, we as consumers have an absolute moral obligation (no way for anyone to argue anything to the contrary) to hold companies accountable and prevent the unbelievable suffering of animals. We can't all be vegetarians, but try to eat less meat in general and buy meat from companies that use humane practices whenever you can. Spend a little more and buy milk from pasture-raised happy cows and eggs from happy free-roaming grass eating chickens and -for your own health -if you can afford to buy organic, please do. There are times in my life when I just had to buy the cheapest of everything, but when I started having more breathing room with money... I spent more for the humane option because I care how animals are treated (even though I admit to being an omnivore). Finally, I also want to say that the way Amazon Fresh packages eggs is outstanding -rarely do I encounter a broken egg. I highly recommend these eggs, especially the organic. I see some people complaining about egg size and color -yes, sometimes I feel the eggs are smaller than usual and sometimes the eggs are darker and other times a little lighter -c'mon people... do you think eggs are one-size-fits-all and the farmer gets to fire chickens that don't make perfect eggs? Ugh... quit your whining... sometimes you'll get whatever comes out from the chicken. Yes, these eggs are expensive but, by and large, they are fabulous and I can accept some occasional size/color variations that are less than optimal but still good.

Expensive eggs but very good quality. Bright orange yolk and size are no comparison you pay for what you get.

Good structure and good yolk color, but the yolks have no flavor. They can used in baking but I won't buy them again

I love everything about this brand. The eggs are great tasting - you can actually tell the difference between them and other brands. I will pay a little extra for them knowing how good they are in taste and quality.
