What a time saver!
I bought this to use on the glass door of my electric smoker. It works awesome. The door gets covered with baked on smoke soot and then you can't see through it. You can scrub vigorously with soap, water and a rough sponge and get it off, but this spray makes the job SO MUCH easier. You spray it on the glass and watch the soot slide away. You can just wipe the black soot away easily. It says that it is safe to use on cooking surfaces, but just to be extra safe, I do wash the door with plain water afterwards as well. I have used it on the metal grates in the smoker as well and it worked just as good on those. I would not doubt that it would also work wonders on a gas grill as well. I'm sold.

A Product That Actually Lives Up to the Hype
Very impressed. It happens all too often...I buy another cleaning product hoping it will be "the one" that actually delivers, but 95% of the time they promise much but deliver little (e.g., shower tile cleaning products, for instance - still looking). However, having received a brand new Weber grill for Father's Day, I wanted to keep it in tip top shape. The Weber Grill Cleaner Spray worked so well, I was kinda caught off guard! I think the highly rated grill scrubber I bought won't see much use! Seriously, on a cold grill that I had cooked trip tip steaks on the night before, I sprayed it on, waited about a minute as directed, then wiped it off with paper towel. Ok, ok, I did use the scrubber, because I had just bought it darn it, but honestly it wasn't required.

Good but not quite as great as product description.
There are a number of conflicting reviews on this site regarding this product. I decided to give it a try. My assessment:1) It's not going to work like magic. You don't spray on and simply wipe off. I assume that formulating such a product would require that the cleaner be both corrosive and highly toxic -- this product is neither (thankfully).2) It worked for me, an a cast iron grill in the following manner: I sprayed it on, and then after about 5 minutes, used a metal brush to clean the grate. This did work, and I did NOT have to waste propane heating the grill and charring off all residue. Burning off the residue would have worked just as well, and either way requires about the same amount of work. With this, one does save a little propane -- which I am glad for, since I only have a portable grill and use small propane tanks.3)The product was especially useful for cleaning the inside of the grill -- the basket area underneath the propane burners. Though the grill does not look like new (I don't think that this would be possible), the spray did facilitate the removal of some heavily burnt on greaseThis product deserves between 3-4 stars; I've erred on the higher side , but I haven't seen/tried any comparable cleaners. It works, but perhaps less efficiently than the description would have you believe.

It does clean the grill
The grill cleaner does not dissolve grease easily.

Works as described!
A must have if you own a Weber grill. Doesn't require any rinsing (no mess) and is very easy to use. Just spray on cool surface, leave on for two minutes, scrub/scrape and then wipe with paper towel. I use this cleaner for the entire interior of my Summit 670 grill. The only complaint that I have is in regards to price. This cleaner is a bit overpriced, but these grills are expensive so it is advisable to use a cleaning product that was tested by and manufactured for Weber.

OK For Lighter Dirt
Works fairly well on light grease and crud but of no use on heavier, cooked on, food deposits.

Finally! (And not just for grills)
I've been trying for years--literally--to clean the door of my toaster oven and restore the shine to my drip pans. For health and environmental reasons I won't use the convenient but highly toxic stuff on the market. If gloves or "proper ventilation" are required, it's not for me. Until now, nothing has done more than make a small dent in the burnt-on crud.Weber Grate Grill Cleaner is amazing stuff. Biodegradable, nontoxic, non skin-irritating, non asthma-inducing. It required scraping with a putty knife, but nothing else--commercial product or homemade solution pulled from the Web--even came close to doing the job, and I'd just about given up even trying. With results like this, the extra elbow grease doesn't bother me. My only complaint--and it is a minor one--is that it isn't thicker. It would be nice if it clung to small areas such as oven racks, or to vertical surfaces. But that quibble isn't enough to keep me from giving it 5 stars.

Excellent Non-Toxic Spray
Solid grill cleaner. I have a Grill Daddy brush and use that to get the gunk off the grill after using it, but prepping for the next time I cook this is the product to go with. You want to always make sure your grill is not only free of gunk but sanitary to use properly. This non-toxic spray is the best thing for such an occasion. Use this with a damp towel or a soft brush on a cold grill and you're good to go.

Cleaning a Smoker?
Works like magic. Took 2 years of grease and grime off the inside of my smoker, looks almost new.
