Son loves it - a favorite!
Got this for my 4 1/2 yr old son for Christmas and he was so excited! It was his first video game ever so i was very concerned about age appropriateness and whether or not he would be able to figure it out or not - he had no problem with it at all. The toughest one for him was the rapids game, but all the other games provided easy enough navigation and direction and great feedback when the child gets the right answer. This game occupied my son for over an hour and he was extremely happy to have 'won first place' and succeeded at the game. Excellent product!!

Good game
I might like what it teaches my kid a little more than she likes playing it- but she DOES enjoy playing this game. She makes recipes after all & cooking is fun right. She definitely has gotten our money's worth out of it. For a 5 yr. old who loves dolls so much, we are happy we got her this still.

Fun and enjoyable
Recently purchased this and Go Diego, Go for my son. He loves both of the games and plays with them constantly. He is always telling me how he learned a new recipe and he especially enjoys the characters. My son will soon be 4, I would highly recommend this game for a 3 or 4 year old.

Fun learning...
As long as these games are geared towards learing, their alright with me. My son Johnny enjoys this one and has a good time learning as well.

My kids love this.
I never get asked, "can you help me, mom?" with this one. They've been able to play independently with this game since day one of getting it. I do hear, "mom, has it been an hour already?" Which is my limit for any t.v. or "screen" activity. I really like this game.

Good Starter Game for 3-4 year olds.
I got this for my daughter for Christmas who just turned four in November. Overall I was hesitant about buying the leapster 2 and a game I am not into giving children video games so young. However, I needed something that could keep her entertained at Church until the Children would go down for the Children service. The game itself offers five differant games there is only one that she can't quite get the hang of yet. I think as she grows though she will learn that one also. She loves the game where she gets to cook the recipes shes earned and enjoys "cracking" the eggs. Its a fun game but not so over the top that she vegetates with it all day which was my concern.

Son loves his mouse game
Although my son has never seen the movie, he loves this game and always asks to play the mouse game. Great learning and fun for him and keeps him busy when I am doing mom stuff around the house or driving. Great price.

Well chuffed!
This game is brilliant. A friend bought the Leapster 2 for my daughter who has just turned 3 and she loves the machine. Was looking for games that are age appropriate and so as this is one of her favourite Disney films and the reviews were good I thought I'd give it a chance. Bought it on Monday at 11pm and was here Weds by lunchtime. It is my favourite game for her, the matching game is brilliant and means she can play on her own without me having to shuffle actual cards and lay them out time and time again. Some of the games are a bit advanced for her but as I said only 3 and it helps you all the way along. Simple Brilliant!

Good Fun plus cooking skills!
My 4 year old son loves this game - especially the cooking section with Reme. The main theme of the games are cooking, sorting food types, matching colours/ shapes and recognising letters and numbers. Within the cook section, you learn how to pick ingredients, mix cakes/pies and follow recipies. You can also make your own receipes up! If you complete tasks in the other games you are awarded points which opens up new ingredients and further receipe cards.I was very sceptical that my son would enjoy this, especially as this film was not a huge hit with him - however, he loves this game and is played the most out of his collection. Highly recommended for this age group.

A great way to learn
I very much like the idea of play as a way of teaching children with these games, this one helps pre-school Children with word building amongst other things, whilst they're helping Gustav to become a Chef. Great game
