I bought these lights as I was fed up of getting my handlebar lights stolen! These fit onto the spokes of the wheel so are a lot less noticeable to thieves. There are a one part light, so you simply clip onto a spoke and slide the light towards the rim so it fits snugly. There are holes provided if you want to cable tie them for security but it's not really necessary. I was a bit worried they might wobble off without being tied on but on a decent length bike ride that took in some of Gloucestershire's finest pot holes, the spoke light stayed in place. The light is visible at night from the front, back and side of the bike and they light up the whole wheel, which makes motorists much more aware that you are there. The four pack, as seen in the photos, come with three solid colour lights - blue, red and green - and the fourth is a multicolour, which flashes one colour after the other, with two different speeds. You can set the lights to 'on', 'slow flashing', 'fast flashing' or 'off'. And you can fit more than one to each wheel if you want. The are made from durable plastic, tough enough to last but bendy enough to fit onto any size wheel easily. The are also waterproof and I've ridden with them in the rain several times and had no problems with leaks. Each light takes one CR2032 battery that's simple to replace and they come with batteries already fitted. All in all, a fantastic product at a great price.

The media could not be loaded.  These spoke lights have been a great cheap way to increase my visibility while cycling in the depths odd winter and the dark evenings. They install easily, simply clip them into the spoke (round spoke only they'll not fit on the flat aero spojes you get on some top end bikes) bicycles) and slide to the outer edge of the wheel and they wedge nicely between the two spots either side. They are nice and bright and comes in four modes that you cycle through by simply clicking the light. Off - slide flash - rapid flash - continuously on - off. Not sure on the battery life but I've had them working for two hours on a slow flash and so far so good. If the batteries do run out, you just pop the call off, pull out the light and slide out the cr2032 battery to change. For £6 you get 4 slides (green, red, blue and multi colored) and so it's all pretty good value. Good addition and kids would love them as well. Neil

I am really pleased with these. They're nice and easy to fit by slipping into the spokes and have handy holes for a zip tie to be extra secure. To turn them on is a press of the middle which is nice and responsive then three more clicks through different light patterns to turn off. I thought they weren't going to be that bright but out on a dark round they really make the bike good and visible. I can't vouch for battery life but I've commuted all week so that's 10 hours cycling and not a hint of loss of brightness. I haven't noticed the attachments to the wheels adding any extra noise and they are really light so don't affect handling.One word of warning is that I also have a road bike with 28 spokes and they don't fit them, but fine for my 36 spoke MTB.At this price for four lights they're a small price to pay for safety and look great too.

Simple but clever idea & amazing value. The simple package contained four lights & small cable ties & a spare batteries. The cap of the light pops of when you need to slip in a new battery.There were no instructions so it took me a few minutes to figure out you just pushed on the domed part of the light until it clicked on.There are 4 lights, white/multi, green, blue & red(not shown as already on the bike).I just popped mine in between the spikes right up to the edge of the wheel. I put red at the back & green at the front. They are very effective & my son loves them.A great way to be seen & fun to. Safety can be fun.Highly recommended.

Was offered these to review. Being an ageing Hippy Mountain Bike rider I didn't think they would be entirely appropriate but I gave them a go as I ride on roads at night a fair bit. Fixing them on my 28" wheel spokes was a bit fiddly, but they held in place firmly with the supplied small Cable ties. They are really bright and have 3 flashing modes and give a brilliant light display when whizzing around. Makes one much more noticeable and obviously attracts a lot of attention from pedestrians ! The power usage is minimal as I tested one, leaving it on for 48 hours, after which it still had a reasonable glow. Uses the small CR2032 battery. Difficult to take pics, but when I manage it I'll add it on.

Surprisingly good for a surprisingly small price.I cannot persuade my teens to wear high viz jackets and am aware as a driver that dark clothes make cyclists incredibly hard to see in the evenings. I have persuaded two of them to attach these to the spokes of their bikes - very easy and very inconspicuous when not flashing - and felt a bit happier, as I can see how visible thay make them.There are 4 different lights, as the picture shows; one each red, blue, green and one multicolor, and you simply press the centr to switch on, cycle through, 3 different modes and off. I have to say as a motorist I find the flashing one most distracting, but I guess that from a cyclist's perspective, tgetting attention is exactly the point!

For the price you really can’t complain. Won’t fit every spoke pattern, but got creative and drilled a few holes in the wings which I think are nylon; and attached with a few tie wrap. I’d be careful of using just the green on a bike because this can give the ‘go’ signal to drivers. Red has been proven to be safer, but to be honest if you put them all on, you’ll look like a Christmas tree, so great for getting driver attention. Not sure how legal they are on the road, but probably a lot more so than the knobheads that ride around with no lights on at all.
