Therefore they emphasise that learners have to take ownership and responibility for their own learning.They offer you a practical step by step approach to implement Personalised Learning in your classes and in your schools. On the way they bust some myths about learning styles, multiple intelligence and more.For me this is the one must read book, both practical and supported by sound scientific research.

It's a wonderful way to look at teaching and learning!

This is the best book on education that I've read in a long, long time. This is truly the future of education and my only disappointment is that I won't be teaching long enough to see it in practice school-wide.

This book defines the term "personalized learning." It also helps teachers with examples of the three stages of personalized learning. The author even connected with me over the Internet and answered questions about the topic.

The author has a problem with semantics. Don't call them students, call them learners. Don't say learning styles; the validity of the styles has not been proven. Instead, ask how students prefer to access, engage, and express learning.Much of the book bashes other learning and motivational strategies while rewording and reworking them.I'm waiting on the studies to support this "culture shift".

This is a great framework to challenge our thinking in moving traditional school to real school for kids.
