Installed 2 months now after talking to CEO of company. Pro version with 15 year warranty now far superior to older item that had only 3 year warranty. Complete new product formula and paint to protect from weather and sun related damage. It has blocked all pine needles and maple seed "propellers" and still achieves maximum waterflow through gutters. I notched bottom of gutterstuff where gutter supports where finding this to be easier to install than trying to force it under the supports. I was still able to tuck front under front lip of gutter and back under shingle overhang, trim and rear gutter edge. This created a snug fit with a slight upward belly to gutterstuff . This almost makes them self cleaning in heavy downpours by gradually pushing needles, seeds and leaves forward and off to ground and allowing water to penetration through to gutter without any noticeable slowdown in waterflow. I have this suspicion that in the snowy northeast this will make it easier to slide snow off my roof to the ground without snow buildup in the gutter. I also feel I must do this faithfully before any melting and freezing takes place after a snow storm. Hopefully, this will reduce or eliminate last year's ice dams.

As a contractor, I've had the opportunity to work with a number of different gutter filter systems, and this is definitely one of the easier ones to install. I like that it leaves a little channel along the lower inside edge of the gutter for water to flow through too. Corner miter cuts are easily done with a pair of snips, or a knife. The only real downside I can think of to these style filters is that I'm sure needles and "helicopters" will be sitting on top of them. I've used similar filters where the needles poke right down into the material, and get stuck there. But, it's better than having them IN your gutters and clogging them and your downspouts. This is the kind I'll be sticking with unless I happen to stumble across something that works just as well, but is priced lower.

If I didn't have to go up on my roof again, I would return this product. The quality is far, far worse than when I purchased this product five and 10 years ago: shape, size, fragility. I ordered the "pro" version and the box label did not say "pro." The extra coating on the "pro" version I received five years ago is no present. The pieces are of varying lengths and shapes. I ordered 5" and there's a piece that is 6" and another that is 4". The ends are uneven and now, a full week after installation, the pieces still do not lay flat in the gutter.

First two boxes appeared to be better quality (thicker) than the subsequent two boxes. Second set were adequate for the job. We will see how long they last. Easy to remove old ones (same stuff) and the new ones were easy to cut to desired lengths and install. Do a great job keeping leaves and maple seed pods (noses) out of the gutters.

What you need to hear: Instead of gutters full of leaves, your gutters are half filled with open cell foam and the leaves blow, roll, or are eventually pushed off of the top. This is a very good solution for places where there isn't a lot of small (especially granular) debris though it will probably work well at the beach too. I'm not sure what the limit of water passage might be though I suspect that the size of the downspout might be the limiting factor in heavy rain. We have a metal roof and the trees around us are deciduous; cherry, black walnut, myrtle, and a few others. Therefore we do not have the asphalt shingle stone problem nor the pine needle issue. For our place, this is a perfect solution and works very well. I think the price is quite high for the material that you get (foam just isn't all that expensive) but it's worth it to me not to have overflowing gutter syndrome (OFGS) which is closely related to plugged downspout disorder (PDSD).

Not what the picture showed. 20 some years ago I bought gutter stuff (not sure of that brand). They came full size not compressed. The plastic was much heavier and lasted all these years. Wish they still made the old ones. Maybe they do just can't find them. They claim they went to the new product so it could be compressed and save the planet by using less cardboard in shipping but yet the compressed product was shrinked wrapped in several feet of clear plastic wrap which is much more harmful than recyclable cardboard. The product is in my gutters and will see how it holds up.

Installed these in a weekend, and my gutters have been debris-free ever since! They fit perfectly, let water flow through, and keep out leaves and gunk. No more climbing up the ladder every season to clean out a mess. If you want a low-maintenance solution for your gutters, this is it! 🍂💦

I had to repair/reattach my gutters...IN DECEMBER :-) So i decided to clean them out and get it done. Well i decided to see if i could get a gutter guard installed while doing this badly timed home repair. I found this Gutter Stuff Pro on Amazon and with Prime shipping speed I gave it a shot(without any research). It was the easiest home repair i have ever accomplished,and i have done MANY complicated ones while having little training(just winging it). After 3 months and 35 inches of snow, i can honestly say THE PRODUCT WORKS! No leaves or debris in either my gutters or downspouts,no mud/dirt either. It did not loosen or deteriorate in any way! I will update after the Summer,but right now I will smile as i keep my ladders in the shed without need of roof duty forever. Thanks Amazon!
