Not really worth even this price
Red candle is really rather dark orange and the printing on it is dark grey and NOT gold. The white candle is printed in the same dark grey (definitely NOT gold!) and is not straight but at something of an angle. The 'colour' is an outer colour and not throughout the candle, but on the outside of the candle. The printing is poor and patchy in places.I'd select a different one if I were you.

Dissapointed
Sadly the numbers on the red candle could not be seen at all!! The picture on Amazon site clearly indicates the numbers in gold. The White candle was satisfactory and I needed it before December to give as a present for someone I will not see again this year, therefore did not send item back. Very disappointed in the red one.

Left Cold.
These candles are not solid wax. They carry no weight at all and they do not have any health warnings on them re flames. The printed transfer is stuck down with many bubbles and on both items the number 23 is faulty. Very disappointed. The deep red colour - as in sellers photographs - is more like a bright red. Returned.

Good alternative to chocolate!!!!!
As it seems very difficult to buy an advent calendar that doesn't have chocolate in it my wife and I decided to try this for the children (ages 6 and 9) in the run up to Christmas. With good supervision the boys enjoyed taking it in turns to light the candle and put it out each day. And no grumbles about not having a daily dose of chocolate!! Try it.

Dissatisfied
Wish I had read the reviews first, specifically wanted a red candle this is more orange than red so of no use . Both candles feel poor quality will wait to see how the white one burns .Orange one is in the bin !

Great fun
They came on time and well packed. We use them as a point of focus and calm at an exciting time. Kids can take turns at looking for when to blow it out etc. What’s not to like?

If you want a red one look elsewhere
Got delivered by hemie so went to wrong address thankfully they delivered to meThe white one is lovely however other one is not red its orange and doesn't look as nice

Avoid
Candles look good, but once they burn down to about the number 4 the wick isn't in the centre, it is on side. This causes the candle to burn down one side, rather than having an even drop. Would not recommend as this has happened with both the white and red candles.
