I installed this as soon as i bought it. I got this as an upgrade to my previous dash cam. I decided on the mirror camer combo as that way i don't have an extra item in my field of vision also i liked the size of screen this unit had over the other ones. My father in law bought a similar dash cam but his has a smaller screen off to one side and i noticed when looking at the unit with the screen off so it is acting like a mirror things looked distorted in his. This one does not do that. When the screen id off it works very well as a rear view mirror. It is bigger then my stock mirror that it mounts to and covers so i find it useful as my field of vision is better. The only down fall.is the passenger sun visor will catch it if filding from the head liner to the windscreen. All i have done is just left the visor in the down position and push it all the way forward when not needed or to keep out of the way so no one hits there head on the visor when entering or exiting the vehicle. The play back is nice and with a nice size screen i can use is to watch a video of my drive if i want. The lane keep assist works but only if on roads with lines on both sides of the car. If you are on a road with no line or one on one side it will keep beeping at you thinking you are driffting to the other lane. I have tured it off right now as i drive mostly on residential roads that only have on road line. Both cameras have a nice wide field of vision and the rear camera works well as a reverse camera if wired up to a reverse light power feed. With the larger screen compared to others this is a very useful feature in my large 7 passenger van. The night vision works well with out the use of a led that my last camers had which could be a little distracting as it caused a glare on the windscreen. All in all i am very happy with this and i would be more then happy to recommend this or others. The father in law was jealous when he seen my screen was bigger and more clear then his lol.

Not tried night vision or motion detection yet so would be unfair to mark this product on that.I've fitted this to my 2016 Vauxhall Vivaro SWB, the length of the rear view camera cable to connect to the mirror is just about sufficient to run from the rear bumper, into the rear of the van, up the side of the rear door, along the roof and into the cab and to the centre of the windscreen. The red cable I haven't attached to my reversing light as I find the screen size when it's just plugged in normally to be find for reversing and works fine.The power cable from the cigarette lighter to the mirror is probably longer than it needs to be, more than long enough to allow me to hide the cable through the dashboard and under the interior trims.The camera itself is solid and vision for both front and rear is good picture quality.My only criticism would be that it's designed to clip over an existing mirror, in a van such as mine you don't have a rear view mirror, so I have had to modify a phone holder to hold the device in place, it works for me but takes away from the design and makes the device look cheap and has a slight woble whilst driving, it would be handy if it came with full mount, I'll come up with a more permanent solution at a later date, but for now it works.

My old dash cam didn’t have a rear camera, so I found this one in the hunt for one that did. The idea of attaching to your mirror works really well, and I’m very happy overall.Installing the front camera is easy. It is fixed over your existing mirror by rubber straps, which are provided, so the mounting isn’t permanent. The result is very discreet, and doesn’t get in the way of your vision like a typical dashcam.The rear camera is much smaller, but a little harder to install due to cable management, although this is no fault of the product. I tucked mine under the liner at the top of my boot, and then ran it down the side of the car above the doors. You wouldn’t now the cable was there if you weren’t looking for it.The touch screen on the mirror is great. Its large, bright and clear. The menu system is easy to use, allowing you to playback recorded videos from the mirror. Video quality is on par for other cameras at this price (good, but obviously not as good as £100+ units)Overall, I’m really happy. It seems durable, but I will update my review if I encounter any issues down the line.

Very pleased with the quality of this product for a very reasonable price, I had an issue with a part missing from the box but this was resolved very promptly by the supplier. The functions on the touch screen are very easy to use and the picture quality is good. I am going to use this on a classic car which is a convertible and the rear view mirror is mounted low on the dashboard therefore I mount the dashcam upside down on the mirror this has the advantage that the lens is on the right giving a more even field of view of the road and because the leads are then underneath it is a neater fitting, the only disadvantage is the menu is upside down but hey ho I can get use to that as obviously the picture is correct. Have not mounted the rear view camera yet as a reversing camera is not really nessesary on my car however the security of having rear recording will be useful. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this dash cam and had it professionally fitted (which took 30 minutes). The installer managed to wire the dash cam behind the 12v socket (so that I can still use the socket). It does not need to be wired into the fuse box.The mirror does not fit snug over the existing mirror, but it is bigger and actually provides a better view. You need to turn on the screensaver if you don't want to see the camera feed all the time.The dash cam can be sensitive when in operation - it beeps annoyingly when it thinks you might be driving to close to cars etc, but you get used to it.The instruction book is basic but easy to follow. The professional installer thinks that the display and resolution are very good and would recommend it.

Works great but the angle of the camera needs to be more to the right so you can view the mirror if you still want to I found to get a full view of the window you need to angle the mirror straight back but this means the mirror is useless they need to redesign the angle to be more over to driver side
