Mac in a SacSynergy Thermal Waterproof Packable Jacket (Granite, XS)

I am overall pleased with this jacket. I like the colour (grey with turquoise piping). However I purchased the extra small and it was very big (I am a size 8). That said it is useful to wear over my down winter jacket on wet days to keep me dry. I have only worn it in light showers so cannot comment on whether it is fully waterproof. It was very reasonably priced compared to other prices charged elsewhere for this jacket.

Bought two - one each for me and my wife. Used it for the first time hiking this week. Very comfortable - loved the lining which made it feel less plasticky. Quality is very good. Warm and wind proof on high ridges. We didn’t get much rain so can’t comment on how waterproof but certainly kept the short showers away. It does get warm in these and if hiking hard and sweating it’s likely to feel a bit wet inside I think - but that’s the nature of the beast. Personally we are very happy and glad we bought these - sent back a different brand we tried as quality seemed poor compared to Mac in a sac even though same price.

I bought this in a size XS and it fits me perfectly with room for a fleece underneath. I usually take a size 10 or 12. It did initially smell a bit 'plasticky' but that seems to have gone now. The orange lining and zip against the purply dark blue outer make it look slightly less nerdy than other anoraks although it's a functional, not fashion item. The lining also means the outer fabric doesn't feel clammy against bare skin. It packs up nice and small in the supplied bag. Very happy with the jacket and delivery was swift.

Ordered 2 different sizes and decided to keep both this size for summer when not many clothes on as fits well but couldn't put a fleece underneath . With larger size can get bulky jumpers or fleece underneath. Ideal to put in rucksack. Love the lining as it feels nice on bare arms which get cold when it rains even in summer. Love them both colours great too

Bought this for my nephew visiting from overseas. I already have one and the jersey thermal lining means it is warm as well as waterproof and packs into a small carry bag provided.

Really nice jacket. Fit is perfect. I was expecting it to be too small so I was very pleasantly surprised when it fitted very comfortably. I'm only using it to & from work going to & from the car. Other waterproof jackets leave me with damp shoulders if the rain is heavy. This is great. Heavy rain this week and I was completely dry. The colour is nice too. Definitely recommend.

The Mac in a sac was just what I was looking for, the only issue is that it was a little larger than I expected especially because it was size XXS, the smallest you do, my normal sizing his women’s 6/8, otherwise the quality for the price was excellent.

Have just unpacked the jacket. It checks out good and is a good fit. Will report in a couple of months after wearing it on my long walks. Good value for money.
