Then she told me that you have to do more than one for it to do anything meaningful. Out of curiosity I looked for the same stuff online. Voila! I'm almost 67, take care of my skin, do my face exercises, drink my water, but I'm still, almost 67. I just wanted to take my regimen to the next step without having to eat cat food. Have to say, it's good and stingy. So once a week, I take 10 minutes and cleanse and refresh my skin with the stingy stuff. Be sure to get it all off when you're done and moisturize well. I like the smoothness and the softness of my skin and so does my sweetie. I also like the feeling that I can save myself a coupla hundred dollars a month taking charge of my own beauty care. This little bottle is strong stuff. Follow the instructions.

This IS “medical” strength formula, so I get it if you’re a little reticent, but this was my first time ordering any kind of peel, and I’m confined if you follow the instructions you won’t be disappointed.I’m a woman in my mid-thirties with some sun and general surface skin damage beginning to show. So in a panic (( and with the realization that I’d end up looking like my mother if I don’t do something)) I started googling ways to stop the progression of age without taking out a loan for plastic surgery.These chemical peels were at the top of the list, along with Retin-A. Being that the latter requires a prescription and I’m not “blessed” with acne or a doctor who wantonly writes scripts, I began researching glycolic peels in general as well as all the products I could find on Amazon. I settled on Divine Derrière not just because of reviews (I honestly find most unreliable) but due to the professionalism with which the description was written and the clear warning about improper use. I think that says something about customer care - and they even encourage you to contact them with any issues or questions, which is rare.Attached are photos of both the product and the insert - which is actually informative and written in competent English - I hope you can zoom in on it. It came extremely well packaged which was important to me since I have little fingers in the house I didn’t want accidentally getting into it. I will post photos of before and after once I’ve had 6-8 uses.I purchased brushes for application, though I see now why some people are just using cotton pads and will be using those for future application. I feel the brush applies a little too much and I had to quickly dab some off. Word to the wise:- Apply an EXTREMELY thin layer for your first use.- Only allow product on your face for half the recommended time the first time you try it as well.*Glycolic acid will wreak havoc on mucous membranes, and there really is no need to apply directly to the mouth; so exercise extreme caution around your mouth, nostrils, and eyes! Use Vaseline or something on your lips if you’re needing to get closer than naso-labial fold line.I did not buy a neutralizer, I made one of 1 and 1/2 cups water and two tablespoons baking soda. Applied after copious rinsing, this gave me peace of mind that everything was removed, though I’m not sure it actually did anything! I’m a newbie to this so I was a little paranoid. If you choose to do this, be sure your baking soda is fresh - if it bubbles when combined with vinegar, you’re good to go.Overall, this product has done for my skin in 6 weeks (3 applications) what 2 years of Retin-A accomplished many years ago in terms of lightening. Already, pores are noticeably smaller, the stubborn melasma from my pregnancy a year and a half ago is GONE, and the tips of my crow’s feet have already vanished. I’m exceedingly happy and wish I’d had the guts to purchase it long ago!

This was my first time applying an acid to my face in order to kick up my daily exfoliation a notch. I'm in my mid sixties now, but I don't want my face to look haggard. The 40% glycolic acid strength is the perfect strength for me,since I've been exfoliating daily with a stone for years. I was careful at first, to respect the acid, not knowing how it would affect my skin, so first few times, I only left it on for a couple of minutes. I absolutely recommend the product. My skin looks purer, lighter, and softer than it has in years. My hubby keeps telling me how beautiful I look..My advice is, follow the directions, and take it slow until you know how much and how long to keep it on.

This does work great but I highly suggest wearing goggles of some sort that completely go around the eye, not just glasses. If this gets in your eyes you could go blind-just know this is ACID and burns lips/other sensitive areas so I cannot imagine what it would do to the eye. Just know this.

This has cleared my skin decently. I use it sporadically but i can still tell its helped some of the new and old acne scars fade. I use a generous amount on a cotton ball and leave it on for a few minutes (it doesn't sting that badly) before i hop in the shower. It does make my face a bit red but it doesn't irritate my skin. I also think its decently priced. I am a 21 year old medium toned black woman with normal to dry skin and minimal acne. I also use roseship oil on my face.

This product really smoothed the texture of my face and neck. I have hyperpigmentation on my neck and face. The pictures of me on the left are before and the pictures on the right are a week after. I’m still peeling on my neck and forehead. Where the skin has already peeled, the area is lighter.
