I have fine, thinning hair and this shampoo and conditioner really works as promised. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but after using both for about a week, I really noticed a difference. My husband even made a comment about how much better my hair was looking. I will be reordering both!

This does what it says, add volume to your hair

Added volume. Made hair soft. Clean smell, would have been 5 stars if coconut fragrance, or another pleasant fragrance. Perfect for those who want no scent to their shampoo/conditioner.

This has been my favorite shampoo for many years, together with the brand’s hairspray. The shampoo isperfect in every way, as is the hairspray.

This shampoo definitely contains a lot of glycerin. It left a film on my skin that felt (warning: really gross thought ahead) kind of like earwax. It was a very thin layer on my skin, but it was somehow both sticky and waxy. It coated my ears, behind my ears, the sides of my face, and my neck and back. No amount of rinsing would remove it.It thickens hair really well and adds shine, but the hair payoff isn't worth the resulting uncomfortable film left behind on my skin or the breakouts.

Love this shampoo for my thin flat hair!Hate the way it was shipped! It was in a sealed baggie, but had leaked and was partially open.

John Frieda products for volume are the best out there and I have tried them all. I have very thin lifeless hair. My hair now survives all day and into the next day without drying my hair out. I can’t say enough about these products. Please don’t stop making.
