This canvas stretcher clamp works quite well for me. The construction is simple and strong which will make for a long-lasting tool. The only slight annoyance is the red handle covers can slip when pulling, but it's no issue when leveraging the canvas. Also, the spring to return the handle to the open position is removable for easier storage I suppose.

Surprisingly well constructed. Bought them to install screen on my porch. Excellent grip with the jaws.

I got these to stretch paint-by-numbers canvas onto bars. I ended up using my hands as the canvas was too small to do a true gallery stretch (not the fault of these pliers). If you are stretching canvas 16" x 20" pliers with smaller jaws would probably be handier. However, anything larger, especially if you have at least three inch extra canvas margins, would probably utilize these pliers. I will keep them for future use.

Used to stretch some 110 mesh over a frame for screen printing. This tool did the job I needed it to do. Won’t buy again because I’ll only need one of these in my lifetime, and this one won’t wear out.

Decent plyers, but had some very sharp edges. I ended up filing the down and only needed one bandage, so overall pretty good.

Great tool, has good grip!
