I have many pottery books and I found that this one provides a very good overview of all the techniques with many pictures including decorating and glazing.

brought as a gift along with other pottery tools etc. i had a scan read and seems to give a reasonable amount of information so should be useful.

This book is a Bible, well worth the money, and I use it a lot - have learned so much. It's a must for any potter.

Pottery book is incredibly insightful including numerous clay, glazing and firing techniques. Pages include short descriptions followed by step by step instructions on the various techniques plus lots of colorful imagery. Book is very easy to follow and read. Great for a classroom environment!

The book covers so many techniques, providing a step by step guide. In a few cases I have needed to google for more information, but this provides a very good start with excellent photos. I have stolen a lot of ideas form it!
