Premium Gift Bible NLT, TuTone (LeatherLike, Dark Brown/Tan, Red Letter)

For a gift bible, I was amazed of the quality of this bible. I cynically bought it for myself and not as a gift bible. I wanted an inexpensive bible that was easy to carry around for when I'm doing ministry activities and one I could mark up and not worry to much about it getting scuffed up or marked in. My only complaints would be the words being very small. I wear glasses and it was still really small to me. The other thing is the words go to far inwards towards the binding. This makes it harder to highlight or underline verses and in some cases see all of the text without bending the bible open in a way that would eventually break the binding of the book. Some pluses for this book is the great look. The quality leather or imitation leather cover. The high quality pages are nice and thick, which make it great for highlighting without worrying about it bleeding through. For around ten bucks though this a great deal. It seems like a more expensive bible then it is. One of the best budget/gift bibles I have come across.

This Bible had all of the features I was searching for: Jesus's words in red Description at the beginning of each Book Chapter Headings Soft, attractive cover I was reluctant to switch from reading the NKJV to this translation, but my husband strongly recommended it. I am so glad I did. I spent many years reading and skimming here and there, but not fully comprehending the Bible. When I switched to this translation I was very critical of it at first. The wording is not as poetic as the NKJV or KJV. Some of the most widely known and loved Bible verses are worded differently in the NLT. But, I decided to start at Genesis and read my way through the Bible. At first I read NKJV and NLT side by side Chapter by Chapter...but this was taking so long, so I switched to just the NLT (this Bible) and breezed through the Bible, absorbing more knowledge and information than ever before in my life. I am so thankful for this Bible for expanding my knowledge of the stories of the Old Testament, and broadening my appreciation and thirst for the Word in the New Testament. I still sometimes cross reference questionable, or unattractive phrasing with the New King James Version. The only negative is how close the printing is to the binding. I have had to fold the Bible over in my hand to see all the way, but my binding is still firm and intact. We have given many of these Bibles as a gift to people we love. I recommend this Bible.

An awesome product

The print is a bit small, but just a normal small. The cover is very attractive and this new version of NLT is so readable. I bought five of them to give out as I have need. For someone who struggles to read the Bible because of it being hard to understand this is the Bible for them. Scholars say it is the most accurate phrase-by-phrase translation of the Bible in English. Of course KJV and ESV and others are acclaimed as the most accurate word-for-word, but Hebrew and Greek were written as phrase by phrase. The New Living Translation has my approval as an evangelical pastor.

The Premium Gift Bible NLT, TuTone is a stylish and durable Bible, perfect for young readers. My son loves the design and the feel of the cover. While the font size might be a bit small for some, it's a common feature in Bibles. Overall, it's a great choice for young people who are starting their spiritual journey.

My wife and I teach a small group for middle school aged kids and occasionally a high schooler. The gift bible is prefect for our needs. We also give these bibles to kids that don't have a bible. Our small group keeps growing, so I am ordering more. We like for the kids to have the same bible so we can tell them to turn to a page number instead everyone trying to need it in their bibles. It does not break the bank to give a few away. God provides the way!

This was a gift for a friend of a friend, I liked the fact that it had the prayer in the front and what it means to get saved. The guy who I got this for was very pleased with it. And it came on time.
