Perfect fit, easy to install

I've been using the battery in an old Toshiba laptop on/off for over a year now and it works OK after cycling it if you would rather not pay full price to keep something going a little longer. Battery life isn't the same as OEM but it's usable overall. Today I removed the battery (it's over a year old now) and the lower part separated from the upper part with little pieces of plastic coming from the inside. I'll glue it back together since I am past the warranty period. Just be really careful with it until you decide to recycle your old laptop.

I bought this last month, Aug 2025, and installed it on August 6th. As of this writing, the battery has already degraded by 2%. At this rate, it is degrading by 2% every 4 to 5 weeks. The laptop it's installed in is not a primary and doesn't get used much. The original battery from 2012 installation had only degraded by 4% (as of last month). Good thing I kept the old battery because I may have to put that one back in sooner than I thought.

The battery itself works fine and holds a good charge, but installing it was a real pain. The instructions weren’t very clear, and the process was much more difficult and time-consuming than expected. Definitely not beginner-friendly — I’d only recommend this if you’re comfortable doing detailed laptop repairs or have the right tools and patience. Once installed, it performs as expected, but be prepared for a frustrating install.
