Very loud, definitely makes people aware you are there

Strange product, very nicely designed, easy to instal, and looks good. But it is programmed to make 3 different noises, none of which sound remotely like any kind of bicycle bell. Sorry but this is moronic, how could someone design something which cannot actually do the only single thing it is meant to do. Guys, a bicycle bell needs to sound like a bicycle bell, not a car alarm, not a party whistle, and not whatever the third thing is meant to be. I have tried each tone when trying to avoid pedestrians, and although it is very loud and gets people's attention, no one has yet linked the noise to the bicycle which is about to hit them, but then why would they. I am not leaving the review to be unkind to the suppplier, but this product was transported, arrived in a lot of both cardboard and plastic packaging, and now even the product itself needs to be recycled. I am disappointed with that level of waste. If you could produce the same product but make it sould like any kind of bicycle bell it would be perfect, and effective as a safety aid for cyclists.

This electronic buzzer (it doesn't sound like a bicycle bell but more like a car alarm) works well and is easy to use. It is also easy to fit and remove from the bike. and is very compact. It is as loud as a traditional bicycle bell. Unfortunately, a lot of pedestrians on the cycle paths I use here in Milton Keynes don't always recognise the sound as a warning and it's not until I'm up close and sound it again that they respond and realise there's a cyclist behind them. I have resorted to fixing a traditional bell as well. If they can't hear both, there's not much else I can do! I hope that if I use it often enough, it will be recognised as instantly as a normal bell.

Lovely little horn , the three different ring tones is a nice touch . I found two of the were slightly alarming to passers by , no pun intended but there is a very low key hong one that sounds a lot less aggressive to passers by . Bit pricey but the ease of use and small design suits my bike to a t Good item

I've had this a couple of months now used most days. The first mode (whistle) get people looking in the fields either side of track for someone training a dog or something and not what's arriving from behind them. The second mode gets people looking in tree's and bushes again not what's arriving from behind one lady thought it was some kind of bird tweeting in the tree. Third mode is what it is laughable, people just can not associate these noises with a bike. Could do with being louder I think when the battery runs out I'll go back to the good old bell as this is what people associate with a bike.

Great little bike horn. I needed something slightly louder than the traditional bell type, primarily as more and more people wear ear buds these days and when approaching them from behind they just cannot hear you either shouting excuse me or ringing the bell. This does the job admirably. It has 3 different sounds but I find one press is loud enough and works. It's a compact and neat design and such good value for money.

There are three different noises. They are not a horn or a bell and do not serve to alert people to me coming. The sounds are quite good for alerting a dog's attention but nothing else. I have now used this 15 times to alert people and on no occasions has the 'bell' or 'horn' worked. I think the idea works well but IO wish the sound was like a bell or a horn and not like a sound that a sheep dog might be waiting to hear.

Ausgepackt war ich etwas enttäuscht, ich habe es mit kompakter vorgestellt. Erstmal die Folie entfernt, gleich in der Hand ausprobiert. Der erste Ton ist ein sehr lauter, durchdringender, ätzender Hochspiralton. Etwa wie die Handysounds bei Raumschiff Enterprise. ich war direkt begeistert und mußte vor Spaß loslachen! Der zweite Ton ist eine Art Trillerpfeife, sogar mit Hall. Ebenfalls seehr laut, so dürften früher die Verkehrspolizisten geklungen haben. Irgendwie bekommt man beim Trillern sofort ein schlechtes Gewissen. Der dritte Ton erinnert an eine 20er Jahre Autohupe, mööp-mööp. Dieser ist deutlich leiser als die beiden anderen markdurchdringenden Sounds, das richtige für Ommas und Kinder. Es ist sehr gut zu befestigen, ich habe eine Stelle an meinem Rennrad gefunden, wo es kaum auffällt, zumal ich schwarz gewählt habe. Zur praxistauglichkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, auf Anhieb gefällt er mir aber ausgezeichnet, deshalb volle Punktzahl von mir! Werde aber berichten. Werde
