Does this mouse require a driver install? Or can you just plug and play?

I had no issues with this mouse I just plugged it into the back with the usb connection and hey ho we're good to go.

My mouse is now regularly jumping the opposite direction when scrolling down. Any advice on how I fix this, or will I need to replace it?

Hi Emma I did not buy this mouse so don't have first hand experience (excuse the pun) but you could possibly try another mouse instead of the one you are currently using (ie borrow one for a few minutes) and check to see if it is the mouse or one of the mouse settings on your pc/laptop. To access setting, left click on the Microsoft icon on the bottom left of the screen and click on settings and then devices. One of the things I found with some of the non-wired ergonomic mouse makes is that after a short while some of the buttons stop working as they should (eg one type kept scrolling back a page rather than move left) so it could be a build failure. I returned my faulty versions and Amazon refunded straight away. I am currently using a Tecknet wireless mouse (model EWM01576) which seems to be working fine. It is just a little small for my hand so I may look to get a bigger one in the near future but otherwise it is comfortable to use and reliable (so far - approx 3 months use).

I bought this mouse through amazon in april 2020. i need to return it under warranty as it is now defective. please confirm what i need to do?

I am sorry I don't know about returning item but I will say that mine stopped working for a bit and I gave it a clean with a cotton bud and it started working again and has been fine since so maybe try that first. X
