Edelbrock 1223 Pro-Flo Black Finish 3" Round Air Filter Element with 14" Diameter

This air cleaner assy fit perfectly on my 1969 Firebird with a Pontiac 350 engine. It went on a Edelbrock 1406 carburetor and Edelbrock performer intake. It looks and fits great!

I had recently swapped my 305 back for a 350 and needed a bigger air filter. This filter and housing was the perfect choice. As some have mentioned earlier you may need a riser as it sits pretty close to some carbs and may not clear the fuel line. For me the fit was perfect and made the engine bay look better. This filter is about 1.5X the size as my older one and did require a cowl hood as my original wouldn’t fit so might want to keep that in mind as well if you have a shallow hood. It comes with the wing nut to secure to the carb too. Great product overall.

Had my '94 C1500 since 1998. I've always hated the duel studs for the air cleaner. I finally bought the offset stud adapter, and needed a nice looking air cleaner housing. I wanted open element to take advantage of my 442 style ram air hood. Most were $70 and up. Seen this one for half price and added to cart immediately! The Edelbrock writing looks to be either vinyl sticker or thin paint. It is flush with the surface. The paint seems to be of good quality, enough to hold up to heat and greasy fingers anyhow. You might want a more expensive, thicker material housing if you are planning to show your vehicle, but this is plenty fancy enough for a 30 year old daily driver. Wish I would of bought it decades ago.

Great product. Looks great on my hot rod. Quality was also very good. I've aiways had good luck with Edelbrock products and this is no different.

Received my Edelbrock 1223 3" X 14" air filter assembly today. Seems to be very good quality but it was missing the bolt-on crankcase ventilation connection. I contacted Edelbrock customer service via email to see about getting a replacement part, we will see how there customer service is. Customer service said the crankcase ventilation connection doesn't come with the filter unit and is sold separately. If it's sold separately, why does the exploded view of the parts show it as shown in the photo? Had I known, I would have ordered it when I ordered the filter.

Fits, works, and looks great on a '95 Chevy 350 C1500 all you need is the Spectre stud adapter (about $8) Throttle response a bit snappier looks better sounds slightly better especially on a good bit of revving 👍 before and after photos. (Ignore the tape the old "hose" was screwed)
